...or have these been here for a while and I never noticed.

What Rocket has done is something horrible and useless, in my opinion. I stumbled on a new release only to discover it had already been released two years ago. I'm talking about 2014's RCT-625 My Girlfriend's Best Friend Gave Me a Blowjob Under My Desk. Just recently they released it again (on DMM) but with the (translated) disclaimer: ※ This product has been optimized for smartphone vertical screen viewing.
Because the video is to be played in portrait (angle of view of 9:16), not suitable for viewing on non-smartphone-tablet.

I can't see this as entirely necessary, but that's just me. And I certainly don't see the cell version as being "optimized" in picture quality, only in orientation. Would you want such a title? Or are you just happy turning your phone to the side to watch things as they should be viewed?

with the latest tech we can watch full movies or porn videos using our mobile phone or tab, but for me computer & laptop and dvd or blu ray player with tv still more good than those gadgets

maybe I'm just too old :p
 
I don't see the point unless the title was filmed vertically from the get-go. It's not like smartphone users are unable flip their phones to portrait view when beating off.
 
Even in the unlikely event that someone actually wants to watch porn video on their phone in a crowded bus or train or some other portable environment, they can easily just turn the smartphone sideways to horizontal orientation, just like for any other video. Rocket is a shadow of their former self. Maybe they should concentrate on making videos that are actually worth watching in the first place instead of stupid stuff like this.
