What is this thread for?
Hi guys just as a side note I would like to mention that I've been a long time lurker of akiba online but am now looking to participate more in the community. I have only really started watching IVs in the last year so I'm pretty new to Gravure Idols as a whole. Other than Ogura Yuko and Hoshino Aki back in the day, everything else is fresh to me. But ever since watching chakuero idols it has slowly but surely replaced JAVs as my regular go to... material...

So I'm quite surprised to see that there hasn't been a thread dedicated to the discussion of this genre. There has been a few threads here and there that mentioned the genre but none quite like the one I have in mind. I would like this thread to be a place where lovers of this particular sub-genre of IVs come to discuss, review and/or recommend chakuero videos, labels and idols they have watched and found worthy of sharing with others. There are tons of studios and idols in this genre and not all are great so I feel a thread like this would help sort the wheat from the chaff. It will also help people discover new labels and idols in this genre.

What is Chakuero?
Chakuero (着エロ) roughly translates to wearing something erotic. What fits into this genre is of course subjective but I believe there are two basic requirements. It has to be erotic (or even better, lewd ) while not completely nude.

I feel the essential of chakuero is the art of the tease. To arouse without revealing all. To leave that little left hidden to let the imagination run wild.

What is not Chakuero?
Again this will be subjective and I welcome all to discuss what is or isn't chakuero, but this is just some of my thought on what isn't chakuero.

Fully Nudity - Since chakuero means to wear something erotically, I think the idol has to wear at least something. I think if everything, including genitalia (even censored), is shown, it is against the spirit of chakuero. An example would be some of the older REBDB titles like REBDB-013. But I think pasties, band-aid, lotion and soapsuds used to cover the essential parts are not only fair game, but define the genre. Just think of chakuero as the video form of bubble censors.

The parts covered are as important as the parts shown, if everything is shown then what's the point?

Simulated Sex - This one is a bit tricky since most chakuero videos have scenes that simulate sex, but I feel videos that ONLY contain simulated sex or where it is exactly like a regular JAV but with dildos instead of dicks, it is probably not chakuero. Those videos may be under gokuero (極エロ), I'm not too sure but the more senior members of the forums can comment on this. An example would be MMND-119 and MMND-120.

These aren't rules per se, just to act as a guide as to what will be discussed in this thread.

To get the ball rolling I'll share 5 of my favourite chakuero videos. They are not my top 5 since there are so many good ones and it would take too long to settle on 5 , just 5 that I think is worth watching.

1. NTJK-001 - Yuduki Nagisa

The one that started it all. While I have watched REBDB videos prior to this but I think this is my first true chakuero video. Yuduki Nagisa is so darn cute. Everything was masterfully hidden from sight and she knew exactly how to arouse and tease.

2. MBR-AA008 - Tokunaga Shiori

Shout outs to AReed for creating that thread that led me to discover her. Young and cute, Makoto oozes innocence. The videos starts a little tame but that ice cream scene!

Since then there has been a blu-ray version of this video that was released. But unfortunately I don't think she has done any other videos.


4. GOHG-0007 - Yoshinaga Rin

Rin I think has the ideal body. She has all the right curves and a gorgeous ass while not looking at all chubby. She is not too thin at all and has meat in all the right places. She is not especially busty but I've never been a boobs person. Best of all is she comes across as having a lot of fun in the video and looks very confident at what she is doing.

5. SCNE-009 - Shirone Rino

Last but DEFINITELY not least, special thanks to AcVe09 over in the other thread recommending this label. That how I discovered this video. This video I feel represents the gold standard in chakuero videos and is definitely the most erotic one in this list. While most chakuero videos have 1 or 2 good scenes, almost every scene in this videos was AMAZING.

The techniques used in this video really pushed the boundries for me but still stays strictly with my definition of chakuero. This video has the best best use of lotion in any video I've personally seen thus far.

The scene where water is dripped on to Rino's oiled skin is also extremely hot.

The other SCNE videos are also of a similar calibre but I picked this one because I found Rino to be extremely attractive. She has a very cute face that kinda looks like Ogura Yuko that makes her look very youthful. She is also very good at giving that innocent and frighten look that makes her seem like a vulnerable lamb of sorts.

She also has one of the most beautifully plump pussy mound I have ever seen.

Haven't updated this thread in a long time but I'm back again with another 5 chakuero titles that I think are definitely worth watching. There is just so many videos to watch and I'm sure most of you guys can understand when I say it takes me a certain degree of self control to stop watching those lovely videos to write this.

1. OMGZ-036 - Tachibana Erika
First up, an oldie but a goodie.

Pretty cute, delicious flat chest and extremely willing to show skin, all these combine to make Erika a great chakuero idol. She has several other videos that have similar levels of eh-hmm, 'exposure', and are all worthy of watching if you find her to your liking, but this particular one is my favourite due to having one of the best scene I've seen in a chakuero video.

I love any scenes involving handcuffs and bondage (I seriously think that bondage is underutilised in gravure videos so if anyone has knows any good titles featuring handcuffs and what not please post in this thread) but this one is just plain awesome. She goes on to tease with several other items in that position too!

There's also a great scene with white sticky lotion play.
Unfortunately I have not seen any new videos from her recently. While she is not the most attractive looking idol out there but I would definitely be interested in seeing more stuff from her if only because of our erotic they usually are.


2. OME-240 - Morishita Yuuri

To be honest I struggled about whether to recommend this title. It is pretty tame and not a lot of skin is shown, at least for chakuero standards. But she is one of the most attractive idols I have seen and one of the few that is in the older sister/milf category. I hope to see more older sister type idols and hopefully doing chakuero.

Also while not a lot of skin is shown what is shown is done very masterfully. Yuuri really knows how to act seductive and she has one of the sexiest backs I've ever seen. It might sound weird to say she has a sexy back but it really is. I normally have idol videos playing on a second screen while I'm browsing for more videos and wait for the more exciting parts to come one, but Yuuri is so alluringly beautiful that I can't seem to keep my eyes off her despite there not being much going on.

Also if you are one of those that prefer their idol videos to be more interactive and have the idols speaking to the viewer and stuff this is the video for you, the role-playing aspect of this video is great! I don't speak Japanese much but Yuuri acting as a caring older sister type was something that I could easily enjoy.

Really hope she starts showing more in future videos. But seeing as how she already has a lot of videos with around the same level of exposure, I think its unlikely she will go any further any time soon. Still worth a watch though if you like the hot older sister type.


3. SHMO-027 - Suzuki Koharu

If there was one way to describe Koharu it would be that she has the face of angel and the body of a succubus. She is a little baby faced that give her that cute innocent look while at the same time an unbelievably hot body. Nice proportions all around. However, she is primarily a JAV actress so she only has a couple of idol videos compared to the sizable amount of AV titles she has. AFAIK she does vanilla and pretty nasty stuff like gokkun, I'm not too sure since I have not watched any of them... yet. This may be a plus or minus for people. I know some people have no interest in idol videos that feature AV actresses.

Only criticism I have is that she is a little too passive in her videos for my liking. I like my idols to be more lively and proactive. But she definitely isn't a dead fish, I think she only seems passive to me cause she has that whole innocent feel going for her.

But she is anything but innocent in her attire though. Check out those bead underwear. She wears a few of those in this video and in SHMO-031 which she also stars.


4. DDD-050 - Horiuchi Yukino

Yukino possesses the holy trinity of a great chakuero idol. All three things that I look for in a gravure idol is present in this girl. First, is of course being attractive. Second, is a certain level of ero-ness. Last, is ability as an actress. The last one is a bit harder to quantify but I'm sure many would understand when I say it a turn off even when an idol is hot and shows a lot of skin but somehow comes across as expressionless or going through the motion.

The best idols are the ones that makes you forget that they are even filming a video. Yukino is great at that by acting playful in this video.

There is also a GREAT scene with a rodeo looking machine or whatever it is that is just down right sexy.


5. JSSJ-168 - Mukoujima Rurika

Real talk. This video blew my fucking mind. I have watched jssj videos before so I know they can be quite lewd. But like all labels they can be hit and miss. This one was a home-run by my standards. Rurika is definitely very loli looking so I wasn't expecting anything too erotic but the first scene of this video is one definitely nut busting.

!!! Lets just say she continues playing with the baton in that scene. She also grinds against some gym equipment.

While the first scene is probably the best scene. The rest of the video is no slouch either.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is her first and only video, or at least I couldn't find any others. I am REALLY looking forward to any future videos she decides to make. After setting the bar so high with the first one I can only imagine what she would go on to do. Not JAV though, please don't.

I like this topic. Like you, I also find gravure to be my go to material these days. I've always thought the tease was sexier and more exciting than when they're fully naked.

You already listed a bunch of my favs, namely NTJK-001, MBR-083, GOHG-007 and Yukino Horiuchi in general. I even recognize the first screencap to be OMGZ-047 Koike Ruka.

So anyway, here one that I really like.

1. CMG-115 Nagata Yuuri.

She spends most of the first half of the video in the skimpiest swimsuits (all very very hot), but my favorite segment would be when she emerges with twin pigtails in the tiniest tank top and skimpy shorts, just like the naughty girl-next-door you wish you had as your neighbor.

Those shorts come off fairly quickly to reveal a tiny thin white thong (its nice when they strip in front of the camera instead of having a transition) and than she proceeds to messily drink a bottle of water as an excuse to treat you to a wet t-shirt contest.

The only downside I can think off is that the techno-pop that is used in most scenes can be a little off-putting so I usually watch this with the volume turned down. Except for the 2 scenes mentioned above. IMHO, the porno-ish soundtrack for the tank top scene works really well, while the carefree tune matches with the 2 girls playing with each other.

^ I have lower quality vids of her other 2. If you're willing to put up with the extremely lame wupload along with re-encoded watermarked vids, the javpop site generally has a copy of many older titles.

CMG-127 is astoundingly erotic, but I'm rating it a little lower than CMG-115 as I am biased towards higher quality videos. CMG-106 is also very nice, but almost tame when compared to the other 2.

Would be nice if we can get them uploaded again in higher quality. Just not sure who had them originally.

Edit: Some screencaps of CMG-127. They look blurry when blown up to full screen. That's the problem with javpop videos. Could be the original source is just as bad though...

For those of you who like your idols a little more lush and full-figured, I would suggest checking out the lovely miss Sasaki Kokone (佐々木心音).

She has released quite a few titles of which a good many can be found in this forum although I'm not sure if the d/l links are still working. However, I would especially recommend SBVD-0121 and TSDV-41493 as they are generally the best quality rips available online and have no watermark.

Like Kijima Noriko and Mamiya Uki, she has also went fully nude at some point. She starred in a pink-ega film called "Hello My Dolly Girlfriend" and a few pics from her hair-nude photo book can be found here.

And here's a few screencaps to why you should check her out...

She has a really nice tush. It might not be as round as some other idols but its still ahead ahead of the curve. Her skin is flawless in just about every video I've seen of her so far.

She has nice natural breasts, and she's not afraid to show them off by spending almost half the time in each video in pasties...or in this case, peanut butter.

Don't just take my word for it that they are natural...just watch them jiggle.

That said, I'm not entirely sure if her videos count as chaku-ero. If that's what you like, than maybe this isn't your cup of tea. Else she's definitely worth checking out.

Anyways there was something that I have noticed that I wanted to started a discussion on, namely that new Cameron G (CMG) releases seem to have completely stopped being shared online and I was wondering if there was any particular reason why (other than no one sharing of course, like DMCAs or whatever).

There was a steady stream of releases for awhile and seemingly overnight no one was sharing it anymore, not just here but on sites like youiv. This is a damn shame as CMG has always been one of if not my favorite IV label. Their release are always chakuero in nature, their girls almost always put on a good performance and the videos always have a good balance of lewdness and tease. Performance and not being overly lewd is something that fails to be mentioned a lot of times when it comes to IVs. Performance is important to me as even the hottest idols in the world are a huge turnoff if they come across as stiff or unnatural. Restraint of lewdness is also important as being overly explicit ruins the "dangling carrot" aspect of IVs.

Here are some of the reasons why CMG releases are some of the best around: (With visual aid of course )

1. Lewd Attire

Almost every CMG release features a scene with unpractical and creatively lewd attire. We are all used to seeing bikinis, lingerie and bloomers by now so it really is a treat to see idols posing in attires that are more skimpy and really triggers our imaginations even more. I love it when the idols dress in attires that there would never dream of wearing in public, the kind of attire reserved only for 'private' enjoyment.

Exactly! I used to watch dance videos for that same reason. You get to see a lot more skin plus it is a lot more erotic when you leave one tiny area to the imagination.

I have mostly stopped watching dance videos though. While I like the concept and I love how the girls usually oil up, they are pretty boring and uninteresting. Doesn't help that a lot of the girls in those videos do not shave.

I just got hold of a CMG release that I have been eyeing for quite sometime. It is CMG-280 featuring Koyama Maya. You can get it via torrent here.



This release has convinced me that the guys over at 369/cameronG are the best at what they do and masters of their craft. It has (almost) everything I could ever want from a chakuero IV. Cream-play, pasties, handcuffs, micro-bikini, oil, ball gag, you name it. The only thing missing is a massage scene and an ice-cream blowjob scene.

Not to mention Maya is an extremely attractive girl. I was surprised that Maya has not been mentioned here or anywhere online at all. As far as I am aware, none of her releases have been shared online, at least not in the places I have looked. Which is strange since she is not a one-and-done idol. She has had several IVs released over the years.

Maybe it's because she has close to zero social media presence. I couldn't find any Instagram or twitter account under her name. Also, all 9 IVs of hers so far are under the cameronG label. Unless she has had releases with different labels that I'm not aware of.

If anyone has any info about her, please let me know. I would love to see more of her.
