Well, Ken89, you might have noticed that Qwerty07 put it this way:
"I believe the only service that allowed multiple downloads at once."
That's in the past tense; you may want to test and see whether simultaneous downloads are permitted by Ryushare, but I'd say that would be a shocker. As a free user, I checked whether Ryushare's claim of higher speeds was true, once one signed up for a free account (Uploaded also makes the claim, and I see a little difference with them), but I still get the less than 60kb/s speed regardless ... with my less-than-stellar Internet speed. I think that stinks, especially if you have a big download to deal with. In fairness, as opposed to the pre-Megaupload "golden age," almost all filehosters now offer rotten speeds, in order to encourage premium sign-ups. Hotfile, and (erratically) Depositfiles and sometimes Bitshare are rare exceptions.
If you have a multi-part download, and you want to get the darned thing over with so you can move on to the next life requirement, an hour's wait between downloads is nothing to cheer about. But to each his own.
A tip to those who similarly cringe at the slow speeds. Try to piggyback your downloads of similar size. Sometimes you can get different filehosters to cooperate, enabling you to make use of your maximum Internet speed. (Other times this trick backfires, as one filehoster overpowers the other until the second one gives up.)
EDIT: After reading Qwerty07's corroborating post below, I had to confirm... I am in shock, it's true. (Even in the good old days, it was very rare for a filehoster to allow for simultaneous free downloads.) This is good news for free users, as you can perform the piggyback trick for multiple-link Ryushare downloads.
EDIT AGAIN: The piggyback trick does not work for two simultaneous Ryushare downloads, because the speed Ryushare allots becomes split into two, preventing the full usage of Internet speed. To gain the piggyback advantage, one needs to download simultaneously from different filehosters, hoping that they will cooperate, and one will not obliterate the other.
No doubt there are those on top of the heap who are earning substantially, but that's true of any profession. Yet from what I gather, the life of an adult actress is not an easy one. Not long ago I read a heartbreaking article (I think it was in the News section of Akiba-Online -- EDIT: It was here) of what the average JAV actress goes through; they have to work all of the time, and burn-out comes quickly.
And from what I've read about American porn actresses, their lot isn't easy, either - generally speaking. The newcomer who is appealing and sought after rises high for a while, but once they become old news, they need to put out in more trying ways, the anals and DPs and whatnot. There's a lot of competition, and the time when the phone doesn't ring as often probably comes sooner than later for most. Then there is the STD transmission danger. It does not strike me as an easy and glamorous life, nor even a necessarily lucrative one, for the average performers.
