Cover photoshopping which went wrong

Hello everyone,

yesterday I came across GVG-177 starring Chitose Saegusa. And that was the reason for that thread. We all know these photoshopped covers. Breasts are getting bigger, faces suddenly look like on these Ulzzang / Fei zhu liu photos, and so on and so on. This is nothing worth to mention. But it seems sometimes they go a little bit over the top and shouldn't have done it at all. And Chitose Saegusa on the front cover of GVG-177 is such a case. Okay, she is chubby and you can also see that in her face. But she definitely doesn't look as bad in real like she does on that front cover.

Do you know any similar cases?

On that cover she somehow looks even more corpulent than she really is. I mean: She has definitely some curves, but...
If I look at the covers of her other movies this seems often to be the case, isn't it? Maybe they want to push her in that genre / category.

Yes, the cover, and you're right, no depth, and the nose is pinched and narrowed, and consequently looks nothing like her. What makes them think that someone would find this more attractive than the real thing? You only have to turn the DVD box over to see her real face, anyway. I find these photoshop tweaks insulting, not only to the idols, but also to my taste, as though I'd automatically like a smaller nose, or bigger eyes, etc. Nature already makes women beautiful. I, for one, don't need commercial artists or cosmetic surgeons to second-guess any "improvements" that, ultimately, are based on a very narrow and modern (i.e. temporary) ideal of beauty.

This is one of the reasons I have lost nearly all interest in JAV and porn in general. Luckily I have imagination and creativity and can make my own entertainment.

It's only going to get worse, of course.

p.s. That Tsubomi cover was pretty bad. I didn't even know it was her at first until I read the name. Adobe's photoshop has created a monster!

If we are saying about bad face-retouching on covers then I must admit I've seen a alot of it. Cant list all of them but here are some abnormal face I can easily find:
