Thanks, I'll check them out.A Festa TV. They sell JAV with downloads without DRM. They have an English JAV VR page, too... But they haven't got DMM exclusive studios.

How do we get pass downloading 1st fragment only error..... maybe rental and bought works differently??@iamadumba55 As you can see in my screenshot, it does work with yt-dlp. (I blacked out the URL because I'm not sure what information could potentially be extracted from it)
Your command seems correct, so I'm not sure what you are doing wrong. I'm sorry that I can't be of more help because I'm not doing anything different from what I wrote.

Maybe this was a different issue but this worked for me:I never got it to work so I'm no help , but I bought that movie.
Jav-IT has been the most reliable way I’ve been backing up my collection. I know It sucks, but you most likely have to redownload your files without the drm if you want to keep them.Somebody HELP!?! I only just found out about this shit show of a move. I have 436 files I've downloaded over the last few years from R18 in my Library. They sudden;y decided to shut down and not give us all an unlock code to the files we purchased. Is there any way of converting files I've already downloaded to a form that doesn't need their server etc? I have them on my HDD but without their damned verification on the player, I can't access them. And now they are shutting it all down so they are running off with my money.... a lot of it! I've given them a lot of money over the years. What is a solution to this? I'm sure everyone is wondering now. HELP PLEASE?!?!
Can Jav-IT decrypt DCV file (file downloaded from R18)?Jav-IT has been the most reliable way I’ve been backing up my collection. I know It sucks, but you most likely have to redownload your files without the drm if you want to keep them.
No. Afaik, Jav-it and other tools to get movies from R18 cannot decrypt DCV files, which require R18 player for playing. They can only get the direct video file from m3u8 link when you play the video from web browser or so (which need your cookie to decrypt)Can Jav-IT decrypt DCV file (file downloaded from R18)?
That's why never trust a website with annoying DRM. Only buy if you can get a .mp4 or mkv file. Using DRM on a website has always been a red flag for me. I always thought that the day R18 decides to close or change its business, all the customers would be screwed. And in the end, I was right.Somebody HELP!?! I had thought about a year ago that I wanted to find a way of downloading non-locked copies of my files in case any weirdness happened. I bought a program to record playback... only to find out it didn't record sound. I gave up at the time and got busy with life forgetting to pursue it further. When I got the bad news I quickly searched several methods of saving files etc. I found one that is working for me that doesn't require any programming skills. It's much slower than I'd like... but it's letting me back up my most favorite files... not sure if I'll be able to get them all before the deadline but I can get the majority of them. Then I have to reorganize my whole archive... it's such a mess all the file names are different now, and all my chapter markings are gone and useless. Is there a way of converting the chapter files to a format that can be imported into an mp4 file? At least I have some of them now. I wish I had found this method a year ago. C'est la vie. Just glad I was able to find a way. That's why never trust a website with annoying DRM. Only buy if you can get a .mp4 or mkv file. Using DRM on a website has always been a red flag for me. Services like Spotify is something else because you just pay a monthly subscription and you have access to all the catalog. With R18, you had to buy each movie. It's like you had to buy each album on Spotify.
I can get you files without DRM (my service does it) but for 400+ files ...
I have no idea. I know that you can create chapters in a mkv but I don't know if you can import the data from another file.Is there a way of converting the chapter files to a format that can be imported into an mp4 file?
There are 2 options without VPN:Help me guys.
For a long time, I could enter to dmm.co.jp DVD section to see trailers and info without VPN or those things. But this year, I re-install my windows 10 and all of the sudden, when I go to dmm, I get this:
このサービスはお住まいの地域からは
ご利用になれません。
Sorry! This content is not available in your region
WTF?! now I can only access to the dmm digital but is a pain in the ass because lots of movies are only in the "dmm DVD" category.
Again, back then I could access to any dmm without VPN or changing something. did my internet options/chrome region or some shit got messed up?
I keep getting throttled down to lower resolution(s). Have you had that issue? It will start with 5GiB file size in the progress line, then go down to 3GiB, sometimes even lower, and fluctuate all over the place.@iamadumba55 As you can see in my screenshot, it does work with yt-dlp. (I blacked out the URL because I'm not sure what information could potentially be extracted from it)

I don't think it should do that. Typical 1080p video should be 5GB at minimum for two hours. I let it finish, final file size was 3GB. Video transitioned from high to low resolution video, then to a medium resolution, then crashed the video player, probably because of these transitions. It may just be the bitrate being provided, have you completed a full title and viewed it? It isn't a constant 6000kbps when streaming, if there isn't much action on the screen the bitrate would drop when using variable bitrates for streams.
File size : 5.04 GiB
Duration : 2h 0mn
Overall bit rate mode : Variable
Overall bit rate : 5 986 Kbps
