Do studios save raw uncensored scene?

Just curious, for a censored movie, does studio still have original uncensored material? That will be a huge data to save, but I think there must be, or they delete it all after the movie is finished?

And if there is those uncensored scene, it can be leaked or hacked or buy, or release in different region, but it seems they deleted it all, isn't it?

already discussed this, yes studios still keep their raw uncenssored movies, same with mainstream movies industry

haha like usually another guy who wishing the uncenssored scene will be release someday

japanese are very respecting their law, I don't think they easily tempted to leak it and go to jail later

re release the scenes in different region is possible, if the studio decide to sell it to 3rd party abroad, but its rare to happened, because they got contract with the actresses, director, ecc so it won't be easy

I had a wish that someday japanese government will cancel their censsorship rule, but Inertia's comment made me realize its impossible, mosaik already part of the culture, so the best we can get is digital remastered or whatever they called it, better visual and audio quality & thinner mosaik ... its enough for me

I also hopel that one day they reverse course and undo the their censorship law. Mainly because I want to see my favorite jav idols in all their full frontal glory. But i also kind of like the mosaic. It helps set it apart from order types of porn. Espcially American porn. They really focus on it alot in the videos. A little too much for my taste. Which is one thing that i like abour jav movies. Since they can really show any genial, referring to the woman's vagina they don't really show too many up close shot of the penetration like they do in American porn. In American porn, it really common to she some scenes just focus on the penetration for a couple of minutes up close an personal. The shot is basically just the genitals. Because javs can't really do this with the same level of graphic they look for other ways to excite the viewer. Which i personally really like.

Studios keep the raw movies. Even though most contracts with models don't specifically state mosaic will be used, it's a given since the titles are just sold in Japan by default. I'm no lawyer, so it may not be an actual contract violation for the studio to sell the uncensored abroad, but it'd blacklist them for sure if they did not receive permission from the model first.

Studios like Dreamroom's Caribbean have contracts that specifically state the movies will be sold around the world (ie without mosaic). Funnily, the contracts are in English so the models just assume the best and sign.

Thanks to that former AV star who said she was forced to do AV (after appearing in 100) titles, the ethics companies have never been stronger so expect mosaic to go nowhere.

So, it would be possible to negotiate a contract with the model/s and the studio to sell the uncensored version?

ANYTHING's possible if you have the money.

If the model's OK and the studio's OK and you've $100,000USD or so to offer for international distribution rights along with flying out to Japan to meet the studio heads face to face, it may be doable. Casual AV fan wanting to see an actress's pussy for a few hundred dollars? Not happening.

Technically it would still be illegal for the studio to hand over the uncensored contents to a third party, but then you're entering the gray area which is how sites like the Dreamroom empire (Caribbean, Heyzo, etc.) thrive.

Of course even if the studio and the model were OK with it, there'd still may be ire from other studios along with the ethics companies as well so it's a risky endeavour which is why you pretty much never see it happening outside of stolen leaks.

yes, thats why I think we still need mosaik in JAV, without it JAV can turn more like american porn, too much focus with penetration, less creative idea, less foreplay action

I have well over a hundred clips and/or full movies from the Shuttle studio in their pre-mosaic form. As noted in another thread, when I get the chance I will catalog the list and try to figure out the best way to share.

And if you're wondering, I don't have ANY other pre-mosaic film from any other source.
