Do you delete or rewatch old JAV collection?

If you keep the videos private, yes. Just use a different account to upload that stuff, because there is risk involved. If youtube decides to start using an algorithm to find porn stashed in their servers, you might lose your youtube access.

Thats great then. but my upload speed is super slow so it might take a long time haha, btw what is the video in your signature?

Holy cow 106 Terabyte! how long would it take you find something? like half a day? Just tell me, I know there is no such a thing one single drive of 106 TB, are you using your bank sever which most likely sports a disc array that can bring the 106 TB. Am I correct? another thing, did you ever get the chance to view all of the 106TB adult movies? lemme see, lets say an average of 2GB each devising 106000 GB/2GB that's 53000 flick each flick is lets average 2hrs, 53000x2hrs= 106000 hrs or 4427 days which is over 12 years. And that's if you watch non stop the 53000 flick, obviously you have natural needs to accommodate some time. Dude maybe you meant 106 G byte.

4 Years downloading

Instantly. I use snap2html

There exists 100TB SSDs, but no, I use 24 External Drives, and 55 Internal ones.

It is 106TB of stuff. Only 31TB of Porn, of that, only 17TB is JAV

I have around 10,000 JAV (give or take)

Nope, 106TB, not GB.

Upgrading the quality of my collection is a concern of mine as well!

My all time favorites I keep, but I often just crop the best scenes from a movie to safe space

so you're a video clip collector

Some movies only have one or two stand out scenes for me, whether it's the outfit, performance etc.
I do have way more full titles than scenes though, nicely ordered through studios/performers with covers

honestly I skip many scenes in most of my vids collection, only watch scenes that I really like, collecting clip / scenes might save freespace, but I feel collecting full vids is more fun

ordered through studios or performers + covers pictures is really worth it ;)

I did not say 4 years to DOWNLOAD, I said: "did you ever get the chance to view all of the 106TB adult movies?", then estimated the time TO VIEW all the 106 TB stuff. But you corrected me to be only 31TB of Porn, in that case I take back the 4 years non stop Porn viewing to a third (31TB) to 18 months of continuous porn viewing? LOL I wish I have that stamina..heck any human/creature for that matter. OK, now about the 24 External Drive and the 55 Internal. Are the 55 internal drive housed in one CPU enclosure, to make it internal?.. and the external 24 Drives are they housed in a special box as well?..just curious! You are no ordinary Joe Shmoe user dude, either you are a BANK or a certain service provider to go to this level of hardware, I bet no ordinary user here would even dream of assembling such a setup. Oh yeah, putting together such a redundant number of Hard drives most certainly have to be RAID technology to ensure speed/integrity of data. That said, I am impressed to sacrifice resources and efforts for the sake of the PORN cause. Long lived Pornography! Cheers

Probably 20 or so years (this includes 3-4 seconds of average picture viewing) at 12-16 hours a day

I just got an additional 69 Drives yesterday (probably 2 days ago your time), so now I am up to 144 Drives.

I have to checked a single internal drive, as I am waiting to save up for a decent hard drive dock.

As for them being house in a single enclosure, no, they are just on my bookcase, taking up 3 shelves... LOL

The Externals are just stand alones. I prefer to just plug and play.

As for me being a bank, or a Service provider, I provide sexual relief (in the form of videos) to my friends.

As for RAID, naw, I prefer stand alones!

Cheers

Kudos. And really some compassionate gesture to the benefit of your friends.
I used to suggest to my clients implementing RAID once I notice their hunger for data storing. The major benefit is the safeguard from any eventual partial or total data loss, and what you have my friend should be very catastrophic if you lose one hard drive. Think about it. besides RAID systems are not that expensive as it used be in the past, a nickle and a dime nowadays. Just saying.

I do something kind of like this too. I cut the movies I want to add into my collection into clips, leaving out the parts I don't like or I don't care for. Then I append the clips I've saved, one video file per scene. Each movie in my collection is split into scenes because I find them more convenient to watch.

Cutting out unnecessary parts saves a lot of space and since precise cutting requires re-encoding I can re-encode the movies at a slightly lower bitrate to save even more space.

As someone in the data hoarding community for years now, I am well aware of that. However, for my use case, it would not benefit me in anyway. Also, lemme just say that Raid is not a backup.

RAID is not a backup if you only save your data in a single RAID. You still need to have two copies of your data and it can be called a backup. Putting everything in one place should never be treated as a backup. RAID is just a storage safer than isolated disks.

stuff is getting rare, can't take risk letting things go. I go with the system if I have space I'll keep it, I always have my fringe files that I play around with. My Pride and joy is having about 90% of SOD Create videos(except for Scat, or the unreleased one) I had a bad hardrive failure, a few years agobut managed to save the majority of them losing those would pretty much end my JAV life

I keep everything. I store everything in external drives. You never know when you'll want to watch them so why not hang onto them especially when some videos become very difficult to find after a few years.

I've amounted to about 17,000 movies (censored/uncensored, Blu-Ray, VR) dating as far back as 2004 from over 1200 actresses which equates to roughly 100 TB. I only watch about 120 actresses but I occasionally go back to some old goodies that are scarce to nonexistent online.

If money is the issue, just buy a few drives when they are on sale through Amazon. My go-to is 8TB HDD that are usually 120 USD. Those will last you for a long time before you need to pick up another.
Do you think it is in the realm of possibility if I could get a list of what you have.... for science?

I don't mind but how would you suggest I do this?
If you would like to publically share it, I would suggest using a program like Snap2Html, creating an html file of the content, and uploading the files to a site like mediafire, MEGA, or something along those lines.

I would like to but it's just going to take way too long to upload 17,000 movies. If I had a crew of people that wouldn't be an issue but I'm just an individual.
I think he means uploading the HTML files listing your collection. ...I hope

My bad, I was trying to say to upload the html file/s to the site ( the ones you get from the program)
