I have long dreamed about making a video montage using clips from Moodyz's and IdeaPocket's tight skirt teacher series to Van Halen's Hot for Teacher, but I just don't have the know-how or the will to pull it off.

Music and porn have always shared similarities. In the post Y2K we see the sexual imagery of music videos blurring the lines between blatant pornography and totally un-subtle suggestive sexuality.
However if we are talking about music as an "art form" (and not a culture industry product), there are ways to blend and mix both together. Hohnny Darkko's been doing his own electronic soundtracks to his porn flicks for ages now, and he was not the first one... although his' seems the better way to blend the lush photography of pre-sex imagery with low-down bass grooves.
Artists like the fellow Twitter censored DJ_XXXavier have used pornography as a main inspiration and focal point to creting his own type of music, labelled as "porn groove" for may years. He even managed to get adult entertainment performers (pornstars, dominatrix, etc) to record audio tracks specificatlly for him to use in his music.
Finally, it is also a lesser known fact that DIY amateur "porn" content "producers" will actually compose or at least remix material from DIY music out there from non-copy-righted sourced to incorporate in their clips in order to fill-in the sometimes unwanted background noises, such as loud neighbours, room-mates in another room, or just plain electric hums generated by our modern existance - living near hubs and power sources and other interferences.
Of course there is the stigma surrounding the 70s and 80s cheapo musical sources which have been accentuated and ridiculed in modern media ad inifitum because (come on!) some of that soundtrack was cheezy as f-u-c-k to the point that we do that boing-chi-ka-wow-wow in modern TV commercials...
However, when artist know how a sound track can indeed accentuate a sexual scenario or just a visual framing with performers going through the pre-ordained script (so to speak), it can actually offer a different aural accompaniement to the otherwise possibly drab audio surroundings.
However I must also point out that the good old 90s gonzo DIY porn made wonders without ANY music involved, save for the opening and closing credits, which I can not help but harken back to the 1931 classics like Universal's Dracula or Frankenstein, which had zeor soundtrack save for the opening and closing titles.
Point being: it is always up and open to any individual's personal perspectives..

In my personal life, I generally have music playing in the background when I’m intimate with someone.
As far as porn goes....it depends. But for erotic videos (without necessarily having sex involved) music is practically mandatory for me to fully enjoy them.
