Faster, new look, new features

Yeah, working great, only problems are the whole functions of the forums like search, user cp, etc., still linking to akiba-online instead of the new domain, and forcing you to copy and paste the new domain to use them, makes searches a bitch, but I'm sure that's one of the in the process of fixing things, heh.
 
The site is still akiba-online.com, the IP address is only a stopgap measure until all the worldwide DNS servers have stopped associating the domain with the old server.

For most people, this has already happened. For the rest, it shouldn't be more than a day at the most.
 
This might be a bug. I can't attach emoticons to my post anymore though I can view them. Not only emoticons but none of the posting options work for me:

Hmm...I guess that means you can't use the emoticons & bbcodes when you post? that's kind of weird. Let me try...

Ok. I can use those emoticons & bbcodes with no problems at all.
 
When I click an emoticon or options above the textbox like B, I, U etc, nothing happens though Javascript is being enabled. They did work perfectly for me before we moved to a new server but not any more:(
 
Is this during quick reply on showthread.php or is it in newreply.php?

also, which edit box type are you using? (basic, advanced or WYSIWYG?)

Are you surfing on the full URL or the IP address?

I see you are able to use smilies by inputting the text-code for them, is the same true for other BBcode tags?

I think it's a local issue.
Try disabling add-ons, if you have any, and clear your cache.
 
OK I found it out. Smileys and other features work when I'm using Blue-Fantasy board style but not when I'm using Spring theme.
 
Ah

I suppose spring doesn't work with vBulletin 3.7 too well...

The guy who designed the spring theme has kinda dropped off the face of the internet though. Closest would be a green version of the Blue theme.

As being a mod, I found out a new feature (for the mods only) in the new server which I think it's a bit inconvenience (for the mods only).

Whenever I tried to mod (such as moving and merging posts), a message pops up:

please login again to verify the legitimacy of this request.

It always ask me for my account password when I try to execute the mod task. Not a big deal, but a bit of annoying. :crazed:

Is there a way for us to skip this unnecessary step, chompy?:attention:

Ok, let me be honest. The new look looks a bit flat. Azumanga...what in gods name possesses you to pick this theme!? Thought I was in another place when I first step into this site.

Any plans for changes? I mean the character. Site's totally fast now.

p.s: like the blue-ish background though, totally awesome. That brat from Azumanga just spoils it all.
 
If you hate radical edward too, avoid the dark theme
