I appreciate the replies to my last question in this thread. it was good to see your Top 5 r*** Genres, JAV list. Like some of you I have trouble scaling down my list to my favorite top 5, but here's mine:
1. STARS-248
This is by far the most complete package that I ever wanted for a r*** JAV. The plot is top-notch. The shots taken were great, with some convincing casting. you may read my review in my previous posts. One aspect that I love about this film is the convincing antagonist's intention of ruining Yuna Ogura's life because of her irresponsible behavior. it was good to see some convincing drama without those typical cheesy set-ups from most of the AVs today. The sequel is rather great, but it was a toned-down version of this one. which is fine for me, but nothing beats this masterpiece.
2. ATID-474
The second on my list features the one and only Madoka Shidzuki. The plot is good enough for me, at least. It was about a timid and rather shy office lady who is a pushover and is mostly taken for granted for her kindness by her seniors and the r**ist himself. She is described as the one who hasn't had a proper relationship and sexually romantic. due to this, the janitor in her office took her for granted and r***ing her while gaslighting her into sex every now and then. it was good to see how the plot thickened as it went on.
3. SSIS-359
This is the third best on my list; the casting was good enough, but it didn't make up for the flawed plot. Sadly, the premise of the teacher raping his student just because she's cute wasn't a merit that I'll give to this one. But the buildup to the final act of her losing her mind and succumbing to her lust is convincing enough for me. The actress is seemingly retiring without any news, it was sad, to be honest, as I see great potential for her career. I hope she's living the best life for herself somewhere out there. Perhaps one day she'll come back, but one can only hope.
4. MIMK-095
The fourth installment on my list is an original collaboration between Moodyz and the famous hentai manga Hissatsuwaza (Hissatsukun)] Mujineki. The plot was one of the best out there, even though it was slightly different from the source material. It was enjoyable for me as a casual manga reader to watch this get adapted by a AV-famous studio. it was in my top 10 list of live-action Japanese media alongside Fullmetal Alchemist by Netflix and Rurouni Kenshin by Warner Bros.
5. MIDE-953
The last one on my list features a myth, a legend, and a well-known veteran in the JAV world, Shoko Takahashi. I remembered back in the days when I watched the trailer. It was an instant hook for me, as the setups and plots were as fresh as the back of my hands because it was nothing like any AV I had seen before. It is the progenitor of the trash room r*** series, at least in my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. I had a physical copy of this in my collection, and it's a timeless classic.
well that concludes my list. but here's a runner up for the fifth one.
