Well, Spain scored only 8 goals in 7 matches. That's the lowest number of goals scored by the Cup winning team, lowest before that was 11. All 1:0 victories through knockout stage. And just 3 players scored goals for Spain. But what a defense - only 2 goals received.
Pleasant surprise were the South American teams, but Europe strikes back. I didn't have high expectations so overall I quite enjoyed it.
My favorite moment was Müller's goal against Argentina. It must have been a nice payback after Maradona didn't recognized him at the press conference after their friendly match in March - Maradona called him a ''ball boy'' and at first refused to sit at the table with him.
