Forum keeps giving me the double post message

I've been getting this bug for some reason.

Every other time I post in the forum gives me the "You must wait X amount of seconds to post again." Even though that would usually be the first post I made.

Recently I made a post and then it said that the message was a duplicate of the one I made 5 minutes ago despite the post having been submitted just that moment.

I don't know what is causing it.:crash:

Could be a bug or it could be the server's excessive load.

Also make sure to click buttons once (not double-click)

Anyone else have this?

Yep. It's happened to me no fewer than five or six times in the past week. I've had to delete double-posts twice. On one thread, someone's post was triple-posted.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one that ran into this. I didn't want to waste Chompy's time after he went and upgraded the forum already.

Recently every time I use the Quick Reply (here as well) the post is doubled. handyman actually deleted on of those as well… Not sure what's at the root, but I hope that it'll go away soon.

What browser are you using?
I"m using FF & I get the same problem when using "quick reply".

I just got that '..duplicate of a post you made in the last 5 minutes' message for the first time when I made a post saying it's never happened to me.....

I'm a bit freaked out by it actually....
