Fortunately business's have a interest in pushing VR device prices down, lower entry means more people will be willing to buy content. Facebook for instance is going to market the upcoming Oculus Go at $199 while likely taking a loss or just covering manufacturing costs.

The VR AV titles are slowly becoming better, even if some have scale issues (or girl's head out of the view). I should mention that scale issues aren't only visible in JAV VR, US VR porn have girls looking bigger.

I remember back then in early DVD era they have plan to make adult movie with multiple camera angles we can choose, seems that idea are dead, and now they move to VR
my problems with VR JAV:
- the wide angle cameras they use distort the distance. For example, the most common shot is the guy on his back and the girl(s) sucking cock. The wide angle lens stretches out the guy's chest and torso so the girls face is waaaay far away and tiny. Not what you want to see: the girls face filling the screen sucking (your) cock.
- another problem with the wide lenses: when the girl gets closer to the screen, the parallax effect magnifies the distances and her nose gets all long and witch-like, sometimes shooting out towards you when she turns her head. And this is with jav girls (mostly) tiny noses.
- when the girl comes towards the camera to "kiss," her face and head get all distorted and/or cut off.
- when the girl does cowgirl, usually her head is high up by the top of the screen and distorted/cut off.
- most VR JAV concentrates on the girls on top doing it to the guy, who's on his back. That's ok, but I'm more turned on by the guy (me) being on top and doing it to the girl. Usually missionary and doggy positions don't look that great in VR due to distortion.
- Non-compatible formats, like top-bottom images when I can generally only use L-R.
- it's harder to skip boring parts when you have only one hand free so you end up watching boring parts and losing arousal.
Going by your points I have to ask...are you actually using a VR headset? All of those issues you cite make it sound like you're watching on a monitor. Or, which headset and/or app are you using? It also sounds as if you just need to make picture adjustments in your app if it doesn't know how to handle each title. The main reason I think the way I do is because you said you can generally only use LR VR. Any good app should be able to handle either.

We enjoyed the film, but no one actually want to buy or pay for VR, the 2 minute experience you get at shows and demos at shopping malls is enough, everyone seems to think.
(2) just a question: when you watch AV on VR, do you just spill you seeds randomly? When I watch AV/porn nowadays (been my habit for 10 years now) I either have a sex partner and we watch it a bit just to get the mood on and we would fuck. Well it seems VR gear a big impediment to that mode. So the other mode is solo-watching, in solo mode, I shoot my sperm into something manageable, usually tissue paper. What are people using to view these VR vids? I sure don't want to strap something 6" from my eyes - my eyesight is already bad enough.
That's the only way, friend. I have bad eyes, pretty much. I got down to the very last possible adjustment on the focus on my Gear VR without glasses. Now, I have to wear my glasses in the headset.

I also wear glasses with both my Oculus Rift and Oculus Go, don't really have trouble with wearing them and the headset. It's kinda strange how even tho the screen is just a couple inches away from your eyes you still need to wear glasses if you do in real life. Protip make sure your headset is properly fitted if you are doing a "high movement" scene XD, literally had the headset bouncing a few times (doggy/missionary positions lol).
