Considering how much money can be made, I see it as smart rather than lazy. Not uncommon for girls to stay in multiple countries over time on a student visa or otherwise and be making serious $$$ behind the scenes doing sex work. I applaud your research, but want to point out one small detail - you didn't take into consideration the POTENTIAL for pupil-dilation or lack thereof caused by bright lights. The effect of a bright video light being shined straight into an actress'es face may account for a fair amount of narrowing of the iris. I suggest more study may be called for.
