Technically websites aren't born, they are launched. Launchings don't have birthdays, they have anniversaries. The difference is really unimportant, just a reason to have a little fun with CoolKevin.
This board has gone through a lot over the years and I have been happy to be apart of it and support in the small ways I was able. I found it in 2008 posted at a topsite. There are really a lot of very good members here and the staff and moderation has actually improved and refined over time as AO has continual changed with the times to become one of the better sites in the world.
I do miss a lot of the old staff though, best wishes to them. A shout out to Chompy himself for keeping this place alive and kicking, CoolZero for all the technical improvements that have made such a huge impact, CoolKevin for his tireless efforts, Desioner and Redrooster for being here for like ever.
