How come Japan produce so much neat stuff, but people have nowhere to store it

I mean Japan produce so much neat stuff, from toys to videos to collectibles...

Yet the typical Japanese house or apt. is the size of 2 typical American closets..

So where do you guys display or keep all your stuff...

I know in America space is plenty... but Japan must really suck if you are a collector of stuff

I am using America as comparison..

And yes I like to know how most people store their collectibles

Most people don't spend all of their money on 'collectibles' like cartoon porn, dvd's and the such. For those who do, most either live in a hovel of an apartment and have their shit strewn across while the rest who can afford it keep their junk in places like any normal people... in cabinets, boxes and the like.

I'll spoon-feed you this time...

For those who DO have a lot of stuff such as surf-boards, skis, snow-boards and excess items, many will rent a storage unit for a monthly fee. Any more questions that should have answered themselves?
