Here's an interesting question. How do you guys watch your JAV? For the longest time, I've been just watching just a minute or so of something, then I'll skim to another part, or another DVD. But as of late, I've been trying my best to watch scenes from beginning to end. What about you guys?

Depends on the movie.

If it is one with a whole story I normally watch the complete movie. But if I discover that it is a somehow boring one I'm skim through looking for interesting parts.

If it is one with several scene, each scene with its own plot, it is more likely that I skim through it looking for the best scenes.

It depends entirely on the scene. If I like everything that's happening throughout the scene I'll obviously watch all of it, but if I see something that's not my cup of tea I'll just skip that part and continue watching. And, of course, there are scenes that are simply not for me, so I skip those too even though I might enjoy the rest of the title.

It's fairly rare for me to come across scenes where I don't have to skip parts. In my case, that's the exception rather than the general rule, so I voted for "I just skim around to the good parts!".

Before I pick a movie I vet it thoroughly before I even bother getting it. I will look at screen shots and trailers if available. So about 98% of the time I know I will most likely enjoy the movie very much. If I notice there is only one good scene in a movie I won't bother getting it most of the time. When I sit down to watch a JAV I really enjoy appreciating girls, scenarios, and eroticism that all goes into it. I watch the whole movie from beginning to end. So I watch all the scenes in their entirety. I don't like skipping around because I like to get into the flow of the movie. I imagine the director may have some kind of experience planned for the viewer (Yea, sounds a little weird) so if I skip around too much I feel like I might be missing something. Plus the scene feels more natural since you see the build up.

There are certain genre's I prefer over others but as long as the movie mostly fits my preferences I will watch it from beginning to end. The way I pick movies though I rarely ever get bored enough to skip a part. Then again, I also enjoy many things in JAV that are not part of my favorite genres. The only scenes I skip are the ones where the girl is exceptionally ugly, but even that is rare and it takes a superbly ugly woman for me not to masturbate to them.

Maybe I should add that jump right to the best part if I already know the movie. ;)

I have had a huge jav addiction for the last couple years. Yes there are a lot of boring parts. My method is to open as many files as can fit on my screen at once and tile them. I have 4 screens on my desktop in my office, 2 of them at 4k and 2 at 1080. I get around 8 or more videos playing at once and whichever is most interesting at the moment I maximize on one screen and enable audio. The rest I keep monitoring and swap as my interest shifts. I also keep a spreadsheet open so I can take notes on the ones I view, I apply a rating and take notes on where the best moment(s) in the video are, the reason why I liked it, note the names of the performers, director and studio is and if it's real good I look for more from those people.

One thing that frustrates me with JAV sometimes is that the covers are always amazing, as they should be. But what's inside doesn't always live up to the hype - so over time I've grown to mistrust the covers a bit and try to review everything on my own, applying a rating of 1-10 to each one I view. Anything under 4.5 gets deleted but I am careful to watch it twice before I settle on that score, the way I skip around I often miss cool stuff the first time. (maybe the second time too)

I must have close to 7 TB of jav now on my NAS server. As a generous estimate I am possibly vaguely familiar with roughly half of it. I try to divide my time evenly between acquiring new stuff and reviewing stuff I have, but there's just so much of it and the hunt for more sometimes gets me so caught up I often neglect what I already have, but it's there for rainy day hard disk archeology.

I have to admit it's a bit of a sickness but it's also a very enjoyable one.

Usually, it is hard to watch a scene or movie in full because I don't understand Japanese (I don't download story-heavy JAVs for this reason). But normally I watch a continuous 15-30 minutes of a scene without skipping. I usually only watch JAV once or twice a week, so there is no rush, I don't mind just sitting back and watching, there is no need to constantly skip parts.

It can take me a while to watch one movie fully as I'll usually cum halfway through the scene, stop and then continue again from where I left off. Repeat this process throughout.

Admittedly (not sure if I've ever admitted to the contrary in the past) I have yet to watch a JAV title from start to finish after all these many years. I just don't have the time or the privacy. It should be a testament to my sneaky skills that I'm able to grab and share what I do. Haha!! I always plan to watch one...but then I end up not being able to or I lose interest.

I hope to try again next time I find myself with a day off where I'm the only one at home. That's rare, though. But hey maybe now that winter is here I can take a sick day! cough. ..cough

Even with my new found SanDisk Connect toy (I left it on my desk at home today!!!) I can't find the time or place. So, as one that voted for the Just Skim option I'd say I consume JAV when I can.

I have a feeling no one does, I think the run-time is a big part of the marketing so they tend to be bloated anyways. In particular I notice the "anal" titles have like 90 to 120 minutes of anal lubing up and a few minutes of penetration at the end.

I applaud the realism, anyone who has done anal knows that the prep work is time consuming - (if you ever want her to speak to you again, anyway) but in most countries' porn it's presented like actresses are ready for anal anytime. Most people don't fantasize that much about the prep work, any more than when thinking about a hot bowl of Ramen you would fantasize about the hours it takes to make a good broth.

Slightly off topic but may I know which media player you guys use? I'm having trouble playing iso files with vlc. Tried KMPlayer but there's no sound. Then tried MPC-HC x64 but the picture quality got butchered.

Sorry, Zen, but you really should start a new thread in the section below for something like this. The thread should stay on topic. You'll get some replies there, I have no doubt. Thanks!

BOT - I stocked my SanDisk with a few more titles. :elegan:

depend on the movies and performers

I'm rare to watch the whole movie, usually I only watch scenes that I like, and if I like it not only for 1-3 minutes but 5-15 minutes and then skip to another scene or another movies

I have to admit it's a bit of a sickness but it's also a very enjoyable one.

I have my main computer (desktop computer) connected to two 42" TV but I download JAV with my laptop. In my previous house, I was able to watch in HD on the big screens but I can't really do that anymore (the room isn't as safe for watching porn as it used to be in my previous house haha, that's why I use my laptop instead). But I watch JAV in my bed with a netbook and earphones. Even if my room is the safest room in my house to watch JAV, I need to choose my time lol (and it's usually around 1AM). The walls aren't that much thick and for exemple, I can hear my brother in his room if he coughs or walk. So if I make too much moves in the bed (change position for exemple), it would be a bit "strange" because I'm kinda supposed to sleep.
With this little explanation, you know now that I watch JAV at night so I rarely watch the full movies (at least, not in one night). But I did for some (one of Aoi Matsushima and another of Mio Oichi). But most of time, I skip to the interesting parts.

Hey man, I don't want to get off topic either but I hate to see you struggle like that. ISO's for video are only really intended to be burned to a disk so they can be used with a normal DVD player. Your best approach would be to open them somehow (I like MagicISO- freeware) and get the VOB files out and play those directly or else use a converter to rip the VOB's to your preferred format. I like videopad editor (30 day trial), can also be used to make compilations of your favorite scenes. But that's Windows. For MAC I hear handbrake (freeware) is good, haven't used it much. Hope that helps, and please do make a new thread if you need any more help.

Okay I'll bite. If you download from here and anywhere you should have WinRaR to unpack titles. Right-click your ISO file and extract all using WinRar. Then you'll have all the VOB files directly. Of course they will be the raw files so if they split a 2 hour movie into 4 VOB files that's what you'll get.

I never watch whole movies but I like having whole movies. Even if I only watch a part of a movie, all the stuff around that part makes it even better. I guess I could easily edit all the stuff around it out, but I could never bring myself to do that.

I always cut all the boring part before putting JAV to my storage.

Most jav have terrible acting, so it's torture to watch them in full
