But wouldn't you want to try and be as healthy as you could be while you're alive?
LMAO....
You're talking to someone who smokes two packs a day, works 23 hours in a row just about 7 days a week and have not exercised as I usually do for about 10-12 years (meaning I work til I fall asleep and wake up with a coffee and two ciggies in front of my keyboard every day)
Don't get me wrong, I can still run circles around most people when out and about, because luckily I was a quite decent long distance runner once upon a time, and I wasn't exactly the egghead in school so the tracks and field was my second home.
Perhaps thanks to that I am still alive today.
If staying as healthy as possible means constant concerns for what could harm you... hmmmm
I should tell you I have a military background too and should probably not even be here today unless for some exceptional luck after my tours served.
(Have been known to drive through mine fields and other weird neighborhoods)
When the time comes, then its time to go.
In the meanwhile, enjoy life and do whatever you want.
Staying overly healthy would simply mean you get one or a few more years to drag it all out, and if smoking kills... good then lets hope it's quick rather than a lengthy painful reminder "how healthy and well off I used to be".
