How to know which movies are available in HD?

I don't like to download SD versions of movies that are available in HD.

HD versions seem hard to find in general. I assume most movies made post-2012 or something would be made in HD but if I look on this site or javlibrary, there are very few HD downloads even for movies made post-2015.

So, a couple important questions:

1. How do I even know there is an HD version even available so I don't waste my time looking for something that doesn't exist?

2. What's the way or place to find these HD downloads outside of here + javlibrary?

go to http://www.r18.com and type in the id of the title you want

then click on it and look at the right side



there you can see if it's available in hd or sd

then type in the the id of the title that you want and include hd torrent in google search

There was a user who goes by the name ipman something, had tonnes of HD torrents.

http://justjavhd.com/ has a fantastic collection of FHD titles.

R18 says this movie is only HD, but someone has posted the HD version there.

Unfortunately the screen-caps are down and I don't have the premium versions for those download sites, so I can't even check if it's really HD or not.

Some help with this please?

R18 only shows SD. There will not be a legit HD version anywhere. No screenshots and single links historically meant fakes.

Thanks for the reply. So if R18 says it's only SD, it's definitely 100% only SD?

I think I figured out what happened after looking at another upload from the same user: he has it listed as HD but really it's only 840x400 pixels.

His side info has "HD" in it, but if you look again he claims the actual file to be HQ, which is correct for that size and bitrate.
