I just got a ipod and my friend say that i cant put my mp3s and video on it and that i need itunes:coldsweat: is that true?

I dunno about that, I manage my iPod with foobar2000.

Not sure about videos, my iPod is an old nano.

If you use Winamp, try ml_ipod plugin.
If you use Foobar 2000, try iPod Manager.

If your ipod isn't supported by either of those, you can try Floola.

Or take a look at any of these iPod management packages and find one that works for you.
