Hard to say thoughts without knowing what you're going to use it for.

I'd definitely upgrade to at least a gold rated psu though, that's the one part you never want to skimp on since it can destroy other components.

It's not an indicator of quality, it's indicative of energy efficiency

Any thoughts?

$1900 wow...

I generally buy second user ex-corporate equipment, which suits my use-case...I guess you are going to use it for gaming with that gfx card which is worth more than my whole computer LOL

I picked up a server with 16 drive bays and a reasonably power efficient but capable CPU for about $100...I then use VNC to connect to it from a HP 800 G1 desktop that supports two displays, 4k + 1080p, which I bought for $50...I can keep an eye on the downloads on my server via the 1080p, whilst I do other stuff on the 4k screen...like youtube/plex

For CPU, seems the 7800x3D is more bang for your bucks

7950X is blazingly fast, I used to use it as my dedicate server, but one reason I decrypted it is that it only supports 128GB Ram
