I had a Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 "DK2" from 2014 - 2016 (I sold it). Then since early 2016 I've had the retail Consumer Version "CV1" Oculus Rift. So yes, I've been using high end VR for over 2 years now (oct 2014 - 2016) ;)

...and the oculus rift dk1 was available in early 2013. Oculus has been around alot longer than just 2 years :p
Ok I give in, :nangiss:I thought of that as well.. but the quality couldn't have been the same as today, or am I wrong? :maaf:

yes. high quality VR porn has been around since 2014 when sites like "virtualrealporn" launched (back then the site was called oculusrealporn).
Yeah I realised that as well, :keringat: BUT, again the quality of the movies wasn't really that good back then. I have every VR movie available to date (I had to buy membership to ALL VR sites :cerutu: ) and the older ones on virtualrealporn aren't that good.. some of the new ones are amazing though.

IThats why I said, when they are near the size of glasses, they will become the default way to watch porn.
Word! :terharu:

II also have PlayStation VR...
Have you tried Vive? How are the PS VR compared to those?

Bad news guys...since the day I posted those two previews I have lost the ability to get into afesta.tv. I can't for the life of me figure out why. Been trying ever since. I still have a bunch from before that has been requested so I'll try to get those up. Hopefully what is wrong will right itself.

:aaaa:

Still shut out? :recard:

It would seem the JAV VR market is, has, or will adopt something their Western counterparts have not, yet, oddly enough. Seems most if not all JAV VR content providers are using the gear specifically or some proprietary viewer to deliver their content. Western sites have the files to download in their members area. Ah! But perhaps that’s the difference. These JAV providers aren’t membership based, but SALES based! You don’t subscribe monthly and get all you want. You pay for every single experience. Which plays perfectly into what they’re doing. They should stop, it would be easier for us. Haha!

Have you asked them why you can't enter, or dare you not? :mental:

I silently read this thread for a while since I don't have any VR device yet. I plan to buy a new smartphone (still have an iPhone 4 but I don't use my phone that much as I'm 90% of the time on my computers) in a near future so the smartphone VR experience will be my choice. Oculus and stuff cost too much for the moment. I did the "mistaken" of buying a 3D TV in 2009 (after seeing Piranha 3D at the cinema) and I rarely use it. I didn't go for the 3000 euros TV, I bought a 3D LG TV around 900 euros I think. Even though, I'm now more careful before going into a new equipment.

So, what I wanted to say is "wow", Kurumi in VR, it seems to be nice.

You're in luck, my friend. I happened to get those before I lost access. If you can hang on I'll get them all up before long.

Thanks! So you're still shut out? Have you tried to make contact and ask why the hell you were shut out?

Any others want to sound off on their experiences? I've read some articles about using an app (and presumably a PC program) to basically use the PC's processing power to display content and then stream it over WiFi to the GearVR. Kind of a poor man's Oculus Rift.

Is that true? Cause that would be amazing if there wasn't any lag while streaming.

Whoa, I can't believe I am just finding this thread now. I feel like I just discovered a new planet. Very much appreciate the work you have up here, Cass. Sucks you're locked out at the moment. Is it just you or is every member having a problem? I would've liked to have made some requests, but I can't seem to properly view the main page. All the thumbnails are blacked out for me by my anti virus prog for some reason. Anyways, I'll be grabbing some of the links you already have up here. Thanks again.

been investigating a bit today and it seems just launching stuff through virtual desktop is the easiest solution. thanks casshern for keeping this thread going, some good stuff here - i'll participate as best i can :)

Yup I would say virtual desktop is the best for most of them. Some videos are better in whirligig. Unfortunately most of the jav's are way behind in quality and technique, but they'll probably get there.

Another tip is to transform the javs into 6ofps. They're all in 30 fps and some stutter pretty bad. Turning them into 60 fps does make some of them smoother. Just a tip.

Did they lower the quality of these over time? I found some older ones and they are 2160x2160. From a couple here, they are 1600x1600.

Thanks for the 60fps conversion link, maschi. I hope it helps with the quality.
