Did something happen to this topic? It used to be a lot more lively with posts every day.
well... forum rules happened....
rules prohibit to post a tittle's media direct link in a discussion threads... a tittle must have its' own thread in specific sub-forum then post the link in it, AND must have a filejoker share link.(thanks for filejoker's sponsors we won't have this forum without them)
ban hammer happened to many active post members in this thread and many posts are deleted...
rules are rules I admit... but is it really good for this forum??
finger-crossed... the rules make titles easy to be searched, but it somehow drove people away to other related info sources I guess.

I used to track this thread and discuss with friends sharing information and thoughts about new or upcoming titles... if a title is hot it can show up here eventually by our awesome members shearing it, but now, look at here....this thing happens to some other info-gathering discussion threads too.
so... just chill out, stick to the sub-forums:/

So this is not the page anymore to find the VR links?
This will remain the thread (page) to find links to the VR links in the DDL section. This should (and hopefully will always) be the place to look for everything VR. I'll say this again since it seems you haven't taken the time to read through these threads and are just looking for things at the tail end (shame on you! Haha!):

Yes, as @Galaxymu says, members have been banned that used to post links to VR content. I have no idea why but there is always a reason. I, myself, was unintentionally guilty of posting direct links here instead of the actual DDL threads because I misinterpreted the rule about posting. That was on me. For myself not being as active, there are reasons. But, as you see, with the other members banned the amount of actual VR content being posted has dwindled. That does not, however, explain the lack of discussion. That, it seems, is a good indication that most of the members visiting here didn't want to talk or discuss or trade ideas. They just wanted the content. Shame. Well, I take it back...that precisely explains the lack of discussion.

So, for all those who visit this thread hoping to find new titles, why don't you instead leave a comment now and then. Talk about something you liked or didn't like about a title you've already grabbed with your favorite JAV idol. Then, someone else might offer their opinion on the same title, either agreeing or disagreeing, and eventually what do you know! There's a discussion going on in the Discussion threads!

Does anyone else not actually have a headset yet and just watches videos in 360 mode?

Is the Cardboard-smartphone experience at all similar?

Yet MORE studios are now available in 90FPS silky-smooth footage! As well SexbabesVR and VRBangers, you can now download ultra-realistic 90FPS scenes from BaDoinkVR, VRCosplayX, VirtualRealPorn and TmwVRnet.
And if you have a SexBabesVR account, you can now access their content - including all the 90FPS scenes - by going to your SLR profile and linking your account. If you want to access your favorite studio via SLR website or app, we encourage you to email them and request it.

Boooooy @Skudavi must have been good luck for VR fans when he started asking all these (two) questions! And by that I mean in terms of this thread becoming stale. Something is about to spice things up. At least for a good many if not for all. For those who like idols, the VR Gods have been listening. And they are delivering. I had to stop watching one of these because my heart starting pounding and I'm 101% sure my jaw literally dropped. If there was a camera on me I would have looked damned ridiculous, I'm sure!

Have you ever dreamed of having Mayumi Yamanaka sitting, standing, smiling and frolicking in front of you? Maybe bending over for you? Kneeling over you as you lay on the floor? Watching her having fun in a bubble bath? Nice little bikini outfits? Sometimes gold? Walking down a flight of stairs in heels? Maybe squatting and spreading her legs right there for you to see?

Ah...seen that already, have you? Well...

not

like

this!

...these will be coming
wow! good to know Yamanaka sisters still doing IV-VR things! used to love them a lot, years ago :)

Nice, thanks for that news. Ah yes. Ye old Interpolation. Fancy word for conversion since the source isn't 60fps. I might try a 90fps conversion now!

So this is a JAV VR discussion forum. I'll ask again what I feel is an innocent question that was rejected yesterday by the mods (or else i simply don't understand how to post questions).

Given a video ID like PMVR-101. How can one find something like the original studio's cover poster? I can't even figure out how to track down a video on Afesta.com from its ID.

Interpolation isn't the only way to get 60fps so it's important to specify what you're doing. For example with a 30fps video you could show each frame twice and end up with 60fps that way (seen this in early jvrporn vids). Does it help? Nope! :p

I do recommend interpolation though and have been converting stuff to 90fps while fixing LR frame sync issues (strange that the news only mentioned vertical alignment instead of this seemingly much more common issue). For 90fps you would probably want hardware decoding because most players can't handle that (especially higher res videos) with software decoding alone. To convert to 90fps I'm using SVP which is nice because it allows for queueing of files for batch conversion and more importantly splitting processing per side so you don't calculate motion for the whole frame at once (turns into a mess with 3d content).

Not all content comes from Afesta. Also, I've found for IDOL titles, the cover posters are almost always smaller than their JAV counterparts, which have thumbnail and poster versions.

Correct and great that you explain the difference. I do use an avisynth script that actually does the Interpolation. Way back in the day (WAY back) I did try just adding/doubling frames. Haha!
