Who remembers way back in the day in American porn when the first scene interracial was a big deal? In American porn, multiple girls would start on "debut" titles, maybe starting one on one or 3P. But it doesn't make it more correct. Yes, IR porn used to have way more of a stigma associated with it in Japan but I think it's a lot less of a barrier to entree when stereotypes are not aligned.

I love that series. Rui Natsukawa's performance was among my earliest exposures to JAV, and I remember thinking at the time how incredible it was, only to discover years later how it is very much the tip of the iceberg. There are exceptions, even more so when it was like 10 years ago. It seems to be like uncensored movies. Most of the time, an actress would do uncensored videos just before retiring. Some girls like Yui Hatano did a lot, and are still in the business (and doing great). Reiko Kobayakawa is another example. She even did uncensored anal scenes.

Some valid points here. Im sure the talent pool of black AV actors is pretty shallow in Japan compared to the US and even Europe. I do remember back in the early 2000s that the companies used to fly to the US and book some of the talent there. The girls seemed to be mostly okay taking monster dicks from guys like Jack Napier and Lex Steele. It is much cheaper however, for a studio to film in Japan rather than them having to fly all the way to the US. I would love to see some new talent in Japan. I doubt it would happen, but it would be great if a site like Blacked.com was able to get a hold of some of the JAV actresses like they do in the US and Europe. Not likely to happen though I'm sure.
