The new AV law makes it prohibitively risky to film with a large number of male actors, as any one of the "soup men" could tank the film. I haven't seen any new films in this genre since last summer when it passed. I also can't find much recent information on how studios are coping with the law. It comes up for review in under a year - does anyone have information on whether some of the more onerous and irrational provisions might be revised? Or do you think they are just going to live with it?
