If it is not on the "cashlinks" forbidden list (see the announcements section), it is allowed. You can use this hoster without any problems.
Mediafire is not much used here, because it doesn't have a cash rewarding program (or gives small rewards), which is a no-no for our beloved uploaders. :exhausted:
