torrents is not reliable for old videos, should try premium hostings too

For older videos, you should probably use eMule instead of torrent.

A torrent can die even after just a few months. Torrent is fast but mostly for very new files only.

I probably download newer videos mostly now. I downloaded older videos before. I don't think there is much I have missed. I tend to favour videos from the past 6-7 years anyways, because of better picture quality. Mosaic is less now too.

I wouldn't go back to eMule. I used it couple times before direct download arrived with megaupload but now it's the less secure way to download. In France, government is tracking people who download with an organization dedicated to this task. It isn't a "serious" threat for people because they are targeting P2P users (on eMule for example) but I know a guy who received a warning (at 3 warnings, you can get criminal penalties). Plus, direct download or torrent are more convenient. My torrent client is on a server so it isn't on my computer. I can seed and download 24/24 without worrying about my internet connection, a good thing as I'm using private trackers for music.
