Korea has a huge sex industry (I'd say easily way more brothels than Japan), but porn is highly regulated and mostly quasi-illegal - and like pot prohibition, usually the place where it's most illegal is the biggest consumer of that product. It's a shame because Korea could make a killing in the AV industry if they were allowed to.
Im Hemi looks pretty nice on those first 5 photos, but then she got "slutified" as so many girls before and totally lost her appeal in my eyes.
I do agree with the comments above, although - sorry for getting a bit off-topic here - as someone who has played StarCraft Brood War for 12-13 years, I couldn't help but imagine what Korean AV films would be like with those crazy Korean commentators...
Also, I'd imagine there would be tons and tons of films where they would just impersonate Korean girl bands. I know some people here would be totally into that!
Korea has it's beauty standard all backwards. They push to the forefront all the plastic girls (like racing models for example, who are kinda like Korea's version of gravure models I suppose) and keep all the natural girls out of view. It'd be nice if K-Pop / K-Actress girls did simple Gravure shoots, let alone AV.
I live in Korea ~ have tried to address this "plastic girl" stereotype before - and there's no doubt that it's a reality for some, met a girl at a club the other weekend and thought, "what did you do to yourself?"
BUT just because more people have surgery here than your average country doesn't mean this group isn't still the minority of people~ I meet plenty of beautiful, natural women every day.
It should also be noted that a lot of the surgery that goes on, that so jacks up our countries' numbers, is just people getting surgery for the 'double eyelid' which is seen as desirable, or in some cases, necessary for comfort / vision. It doesn't really change all too much.
Indeed. I like some Kpop groups (not the top stars because they are all the same, I even gave up on SNSD) such as Gfriend, Mamamoo and Laboum. Actresses, Top kpop stars and people on TV in general have a lot more chances to had plastic surgeries than ordinary people. When I watch reaction vids on youtube for example, there are many beautiful ordinary girls. Eyelids or a small fix is fine (IF it's the girl's choice, not someone else who is pushing her). but when I see some kpop stars, it looks so awful, nothing beats natural beauty. And I think that the default parts are what make a person unique and can be turned into something attractive : example > ears ( because in France, it is something that people make fun of a lot)BUT just because more people have surgery here than your average country doesn't mean this group isn't still the minority of people~ I meet plenty of beautiful, natural women every day.

and @Sushigoround - where might one gather that latest title you posted for extensive research? haha
I probably digress just for an excuse to talk about my favorite
Yep, there's a fair amount of kpop celebrities who have taken a stand for their imperfections.
Another example being my personal favorite, 전효성 (Hyoseong) who has both a "thick" body for a Korean girl, which she catches some shit for in the skinny obsessed culture, but more so her prominent gums. The latter thing is a huge part of what attracts me to her, it's cute and disarming among a sea of perfection, and she's certainly never hid it despite being teased to her face in interviews.
Was going to post image but found this English website to do the work for me: http://koreaboo.tumblr.com/post/99462509068/10-photos-of-hyosungs-notorious-gummy-smile
I probably digress just for an excuse to talk about my favorite, but it fits the bill, not all Korean celebs, let alone average Korean women, are getting surgery to false perfection.
I should clarify to those taking issue haha - "thick" by Korean standards is certainly not, well, thick. I was mostly referring to her bust, hips and ass, all of which (again, for a Korean woman) are quite substantial. She's also lost weight in recent years, believe it or not there are Koreans who referred to her as chubby. Yep.
and @Sushigoround I was more referring to somewhere to download it, if you knew of such a place or cared to share haha.
