the American empire extends it's reach further each year with the justification of being the world's beacon of light when in fact it is becoming a mirror image of the 3rd Reich.

I seriously hope the revolution starts, it's 1983 in 2012 and it feels like we're only a few hours away from midnight on new years eve.:warning:

The US have definitely learned a lot from the Nazis and the Romans, as it is a mixture of both imperialism scemes. The latest military moves encircling China and threatening Russia with missile silos in the backyard worries me the most. :( But there won't be a "revolution". Keep in mind the majority of the American population is still cosy in their brainwash bubble, saluting to their flag and fully believing in all this propaganda nonsense. They are fat and happy. As long as they're fed, they won't even twitch their eye lids.

But to avoid this becoming another US-bashing thread (no need to point out the obvious), I will say that I thought about this, and I think at some point AO should definitely consider moving servers to a remotely secure location and maybe (in a distant future) also block US I.Ps. I know this might prove to be a tideous and costly journey for the owners as well as members, but I honestly wouldn't want to lose this site, nor witness the ones maintaining it being prosecuted. The American members could resort to accessing the site through some kind of proxy solution on their own risk, which we could announce with links and tutorials about 6 months before the move, so nobody is left out. I'm sorry if I may seem paranoid, but we've all seen the empire's reach by now and whether you like it or not, it's only a matter of time until they punch the alarm button on JI media. :(

But the loose interpretation of that law oppresses the First Amendment.

BY that logic laws that require back ground checks and permits to purchase firearms oppress the first amendment.

"Sexually suggestive" could mean anything they want - eating ice cream.

That depends on how she is eating the ice cream.

"Inappropriate dress" includes half the teenies at the local mall.

Bottom line, when the Feds decide they need a new crusade....it's their word against a bunch of guys who gawk at 11 yr old girls in micro-bikinis

An 11 year old in a micro-bikini is not sexually suggestive?

Remember when most of the non-nude, under 18 sites disappeared several years ago, along with the billing companies that handled them? It was a sign of things to come! Unfortunately!

That was due to specific Legislative pressure....some girl named Amber in Florida told her divorced dad about all the nice presents & cards she was getting from her fans.

We all know many things have come & gone....and usenet is fading away slowly. It's get it before it's gone. One saving grace is that this is completely legal in a large democracy....Japan. Long live the Emperor 万歳- Banzai.
