Sorry if I am repeated an earlier request by another member (I admit I didn't read the entire threat), but I was wondering if you could give some advice on where (other than Rakuten) to buy authentic school wear incl. uniforms (boys and girls) and gym wear ('buruma' gym shorts and matching shirts).
In Korea, you can buy authentic used (clean, no weird stuff) school wear from students selling their stuff online to either buy new uniforms or to make money for whatever other reason they might have.
I am not interested in those made-for-cosplay items as their quality is usually very low.

In Akihabara, there are a couple shops that will sell second-hand uniforms. These shops are reputable but the clientelle are usually the kind to buy them and wack-off into the arm-pits of the shirts, etc. I'm not sure of the names but I can give you directions on how to get to them or I could have a look if you send me a detailed message of exactly what you want (including a photo or two as example)
