^ I truly doubt she's the highest paid actress,or one of the highest paid sure she got paid big from her Debut but that's the nature of debuts I would put her somewhere in the top 50 though, but on the lower end of it.
I would be the opposite, very surprised if she wasn't. In Japan she's one of the hottest if not hottest actresses right now, lots of outside jobs like on TV shows, modeling, etc. Endorsements in Japan, China etc. etc.
Someone here or somewhere else (I don't remember) quoted the NBA players case. 60% of them are broken after their pro career. So it makes sense to also compare Yua. If she's spending money on Channel or Louis Vuitton each month or other expensive things, she could end up in this situation as well.

Also, low level talents, the girl isn't Uta Kohaku ? She wasn't the most famous but her name was often mentioned. It's funny because I remember that before she starts posting those crazy messages, she also said that she didn't like sperm and all what people saw in her movies was just for money basically. If a girl who did some rough movies (fisting, ...) already has a fucked up mind, I can't imagine how Rei Mizuna or Hana Kano must be instable girls.

She has probably posted hints of her personnal details without even noticing like many people on social media. And while it's very stupid to go after a girl like that (what the point of making her life even worst ?), it's another proof that girls who start AV think it's just like being a gravure idol and there would be no consequences for their quick money path.
no it doesn't, because you're using Yua, one of the highest paid actresses, to compare to someone relatively unknown. We weren't talking about Uta, who was more of a major star, but the girl Jwlim was talking about, who I couldn't even find on western sites like javlibrary and has barely a mention when I searched her japanese name. To use your NBA metaphor that's like comparing Kevin Durant, one of the best right now, to Mason Plumlee, who was undrafted and played for a year before getting cut. I have no doubt that a lot of popular actresses are squandering their money right now, but in this case that's not what's happening.

In terms of doxxing it's always unfortunate, but Mana was one of the luckier ones in that it actually launched her career. Of course most actresses would want to remain private but at least good things happened to her career after people found out who she was.

She probably receive gifts and more money making opportunities than an average selling actress or a new debut. Also, av idols are just like celebrities, so they feel the need to wear luxury brands in order to elevate themselves and be look down by their peers. The more they make then the more they'll spend, so it's wise for them to get a financial adviser especially most graduated from HS without any money managing skills. Most only learn when it hits them. However, even some normal and well educated stumble upon immense wealth like those million dollars lottery winners. Also, most pornstars and av idols used to last only 1-3 years, but these days with better fans networking, they can still last in their world for more than a decade.

I think it’s one thing to talk about rumors about JAV stars—what they may make, who they may have beef with, translating their social network laments, etc—but putting up actual real names is doxxing territory and I feel crosses the line from gossip to something a lot worse. Other sites have already put up her info, but is it necessary to spread it around even more?

Not on any English media AFAIK. And while unethical, certainly legal as all information is gathered from public source. No brute hacks were done to access them. And it's not like people here are going to call on her workplace, asking for her.

And I remember people here laughing off personal information of AV talents leaked a while back. Well, here you have an idea of the damage done and see the perils of posting personal data on digital social platforms and chaining them up.

Talent pull a stunt of a possible suicide attempt by ingesting unknown substance during a livestream.

Her agency's reply after being notified is very typical of the Japanese :-

"Thanks for your concern. We have already ask the respective manager to take charge of the matter. Thanks once again for everything. "

All business like with no hints of emotion. They probably have enough of her shit, I guess. Then again, I will not be surprise if this is the norm in the industry, with all talenta being just assets.

Damn, internet is ruthless. Just one little mistake and you are done for. Eventhough that in "Megumi Igarashi" case she is at fault but I still feel bad for her.

Um, maybe don't keep reposting the dox on her?

Come on guys, no need to make it worse for her. Do you lot like seeing JAV idols suffer or something?

The aforementioned girl is not an established idol. She is an unremarkable amateur.

For me, I'm more interested in finding out what kind of person those AV talents are beneath that glossy persona they had constructed.

For this case, based on the timeline of release for her Tokyo Hot video, "Igarashi" is the classic college girl who do porn as a sideline to pay for her examination.
Too bad, like all girls her age, she do not have the smarts nor experience to mask her digital trail. We might never know if this means the end of her nursing license that she had work so hard for.

There's a huge difference between talking about agency accusations and doxing (and yes, I'm aware that jwlim didn't dox her and is only providing a translation).
I would think the 'fucked up individual(s)' would be ones who *want* to find out the private personal lives of the actresses they jerk off to. That's a line that well-balanced people know should not be crossed.

Tsujomoto An confirms a few things we all suspect all along. Someone ask her what's a nice girl like her doing in a trade like this.

She said everything is for the money which she needs. He offer her his condolences, she told him to just buy her releases if he feels for her so that she can get a raise.

He question her that since she doesn't get a commission or royalty for her releases and everything gets pirated, isn't the videos just promotions for live apperances ? She stated that girls who maintain or increase sales gets recontracted and a possible raise of wage. Those who don't, get dropped. If you don't buy any of the videos, there is no point of them staying in the business.

Another side to Tsujimoto - is that she is quite fond of talking about sex and dirty jokes.
This was something one of her fellow (now former) Ebisu Muscat members said about her.

A 26 year old hunk of a fireman was caught filming AV as a sideline despite having his face mosiaced out.

He was given a 6 month suspendsion but opt to resign with the entire managment giving a news conference and a public apology. Poor guy didn't even earn that much with only USD 135 per film.

So it still seems that Japanese society still isn't accepting of the porn industry. They are just too polite about mentioning outright.

Veteran manager revealed that a lot of new debutants gets the jitters about 3 months into their jobs. Symptons includes self denial, getting depressed and dismayed at their current suitation. At this stage, many of them wants out.

At best it's all nerves and they are unsure of their future. At worse, they feel that they have whored themselves out and have been r***ing.

At this point, their manager needs to play counselor and convince their charges that their sacrifice is all worth it. The sweet talks include incoming bonus or a surge in popularity. Of course, the tactic does not work all the time if the girl could not overcome her demon.
