I think sora Aoi and Yua mikami will be classic and the poster girls for av even after another decade or two since they're the best seller of their time that made a lot of public event appearances all over Asia and made headlines on their local newspaper and websites.
Indeed we all can name more than 10 current or recent idols who has shelf life more than 10 years. I think all (most) of them would not be demanding DMM/Amazon delisting. For one thing they know it's useless, they can't stop Yahoo Auction "private" transactions and definitely no way to erase the internet memory.

Of course like I said, one ex-idol might wake up and decide to do something irrational. If say a Yuma Asami come out and make accusation against the industry it will be a cat 7 earthquake the industry can't recover from.

shu qi from Taiwan still regret and ashame of filming solo nude and softcore cat3 porn in the 90s and wants to buy back the rights to her old movies now that she's married and one of the movie stars in Hk and China. However, those movies are what jumpstarted her career and because she's famous, people are always going to try to find them. btw She's been keeping her figure prettybwell even though there are natural signs of aging. I know there are some 90s cat 3 actresses and av idols looks bloated nowadays. Even the fame aya Sugimoto looks wrinkly and saggy in public events even with all those concealing makeups.
Yes! When she was active in the adult media, I brought and download her works with as much energy as JAV (or more). Back then I knew only a couple names in JAV, and her.

You are very fair saying her career launch was due to her showing skin back then. What she wishes for now (or regret) is entirely unrealistic and irrational. If she comes out and says she would give up everything she has now if she could go back and undo her cat3 sex films (really only pink film by Japanese standard). Ok I respect that, that's true regret. But what she's saying now seems to be she want to keep everything that nudity and sex films gave her but she wants to undo it or erase those circulation now. Well haha that's not real regret. Like every time after I ate too much Indian food, next day sitting on the toilet I would regret it. But next time you put a plate of chicken vindaloo down in front of me...

I do still love her, I despair and rage against the society that both exploit her (buying her sex films and elevate her to mainstream celeb) and stigmatize her for ever making sex films. But no, she's not entitled to erase her past. And if her husband has any issue, I will gladly take her off his hands.

I forgot was it sora or Yuma that sort of regretted filming av during her debut year. It's probably Yuma since sora said she broke up with a few bfs that wants her to quit. Also, I think akiho or someone else popular also said she took a very long shower after filming her first av and was sweating nervously and ashamed. I guess the extreme lights and amount of Crew members shocked her. However, they recover from it after some persuasion, which I don't know if it can be counted towards coercing. The amount of money and fame they get is what save them and persuade them to stay in the industry longer. Yuma, Anri Okita, Mihiro, and airi gets to do what they want like becoming a singer and release their albums despite it's all thanks to their av fans. A few even wrote memoirs documenting the good and bad about their av careers with some dramatic frabication.

Also, Some girls might just be naive when they debuted as a teen like shu qi, but once they mature, they start to regret it except for av idols it's mostly the unpopular ones that didnt get much opportunities(aside from saori hara who married an older dude and recently film garo) I remember yui hatano started as a av actress 9 years ago because the gravure idols competiton is too strong and the turnover rate is high. aino thought the same and done av because she idolize rio and in turns kana momonagi idoze her in ideapocket. I think more exidols join to have a second chance of fame after seeing the success of yua mikami and shoko takahashi despite all the scale back and negative press from the av industry in the past year. Also, unlike us porn being an av idols need to follow a set of rules just like regular idols. Drugs and sex scandals can kill their career too like Risa coda and Nozomi Aoi. Tsukasa Aoi also face a lot of harassment online and I don't think it'll stop even if she retires as long as she's still in the entertainment industry.

Some probably think it might be better to be a victim because this way it'll make them look better in public eyes and earn some respect. Japan like a lot of places seems to be very strict against hiring av retirees and discrimate them at workplace. Of course, there's more than two side of the story and for each av idol case is different. However, there are people that are just playing victims to benefit themselves too. Also, recently an American film producer was fired from his companies for decades of sexual misconduct and it made some headlines questioning why some presidents and celebrities commiting the same acts are still free.

Konno Hikaru confess on Twitter that, due to a recent dox, she had no choice but came out to admit that she not actually born in Tokyo but Hokkaido. And now, she is actually going to hold an event there.

She goes further to say she was avoiding holding events at Hokkaido to avoid any familiar faces but it doesnt matter now with the dox and her, so she is going to enjoy her time in her hometown.

And now you know why certain talents avoid holding meet the fans events at certain city. In retrospect, it is quite obvious actually.

I wonder: is it more popular for JAV stars to say they're from Tokyo? Personally, I love it when they say their from more remote areas.

I'm sure that she had more releases than what is listed :-

https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/香西咲#.E3.82.A2.E3.83.80.E3.83.AB.E3.83.88.E3.83.93.E3.83.87.E3.82.AA

It may not be too much to say that, as of current, she might be the most powerful women in the industry as she gets to write her own history as she see fit.

For the rest of us, this could be the first light we see of the end of a long tunnel base on one of her tweet :-

She's all ready to retire to take her case to court.

She isn't powerful, others have gotten stuff removed Saori Hara got her whole catalog removed
Who is she suing the Marks Japan guy? because the stuff that got her films removed is a whole different issue, that a lot of girls are apart of. Also, why did she continue going in the JAV industry for over a year and a half after she made her coercion and brainwashing claims? Like I know it's her career, but how the heck is that going to help her in court

Note the words "current" and "in the industry". She is not blacklisted and still filming despite her claims. The studios and her agency dare not contradict the things she put out on twitter. She could choose to remove her entire AV history, but she didn't.

And who knows what she is planning? There was a couple of tweets by her a while back, now removed, stating that she wasn't given a script to film by and she had to engage in a rough sex which she was not aware of. She takes it all only to complain about it later.

Every industry has their own bad apples and abusers. Uber, Amazon, Google all had a lot of accusers from female employees. The point is (1) is it a point hit (he is a bad man) or splash damage (the whole company and industry is exploitative). It's fair enough to say the whole IT industry is sexist. More so than JAV industry, if IT industry as a whole mistreat females they can (and do) hire male staff, but JAV industry by nature must hire females and by tradition has high turn-over. By nature JAV

So in a sense I am willing to believe it's worse to be a woman in IT than AV, provided you already get past the fact your job description is getting fucked and facial'ed by strangers.

Yet we and society in general don't get all riled up about IT sexism/abuse. We say, yeah... Uber had a problem, so their CEO resigned, Google fired one mid-level manager. We don't say Uber is done for, we don't say Google is done for, we don't say IT has a crisis.

Saki Kouzai may end up doing the industry a huge favor, and even imagine the industry may play along, root out one or two bad apples, throw him under the bus, let Kouzai have a victory, because she clearly delineated pre- and post-2015, (I don't know the details) but it seems in 2015 her situation changed and she was no more abused and she continued in the industry seemingly contended.

So if AV industry play smart and let the "whole world" focus on her case and make her case a point hit, not a splash damage. Oh... there's a bad apple, Saki pointed him out, let him go to jail (6 months?) and we will do all these "reforms" (delisting after 5 years etc) and we all live happily ever after.

Because clearly Saki Kouzai is saying JAV is a workable business model, being a JAV actress is a viable career, making sex vids is acceptable to her, as long as we don't have any more unscripted rough sex scenes and agent/studio don't force girls to do sex outside of filming.

(2) even if some bad things are systemic, how much is the society (and law enforcement) willing and wanting to interfere. Bullying happens in schools everyday, gender discrimination is everywhere, unpaid overwork, dangerous and harmful workplace. These are open secrets. The sex industry by no means has any monopoly on sexual abuse. There's most likely more sexual abuse in mainstream entertainment (including J-pop) than in JAV.

The reason to target JAV isn't that sexual abuse is more severe and outrageous in JAV compared to J-pop or financial industry, but because some prosecutor has a moralistic/political axe to grind. They want to target "full sex" vids no matter if every AV idols are treated properly and happy in their jobs. Abuse case in JAV is just like the tax evasion legal trick used by Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) to enforce the religious ban on alcohol.

The question is how much authority want to destroy the AV industry? If they are serious, they can exploit the Saki Kouzai case to the ultimate end and then we will have fap to old JAV archives. If they only want to get justice for female victims (haha what a joke) or only want to look good to the public until the next sensation, then I think the peak wave of anti-sex law enforcement is already past.

I don't believe so. The part about filming rough sex and without a script was of recent months. And quite a number of her post 2015 films was delisted as well. She is targetting all her releases for Muteki, S1 and Ideapocket to be exact.

I believe she is bidding her time, playing the victim and gathering evidence all these years.

Do the JAV industry need to get rid of some of bad seeds? In my opinion they should have done so years ago, but I don't think it will change anything.
Some of the Japanese workers (SOD) that started doing AV while still part of the organisation had to injure very suggestive comments.

There are bad seeds in every profession and it isn't always easy to root them out, especially ones at big organizations it takes a big scandal to get rid of them

At least one former AV talent had managed to just about erased her history :-

PSX_20171019_113439.jpg

https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/コトリッチ?wprov=sfla1

Since all her releases dated back to 2003 and 2004 and there seem to be very few active copies of her work online currently, you can't really prove that she was an AV talent. Not bad for a girl who moves 1 million copies of releases when she was active.

And for those who wonder about what does a filming contract looks like :-

IMG_20171019_114328.jpg IMG_20171019_114359.jpg

Clause of interest includes :-

"I, the stated actress, will express sexual arousal at other participating actors that includes and resulted in the following actons"

"I, the stated actress, will been seen nude without clothing and arouse my body that includes and resulted in the following actions"
( normally known as sex scene, fellatio scene, masturbation scene etc)

"The stated actress will declared that she is not pregnant and afflicted with any sexual disease to the best of her knowledge prior and till the end of the duration of the filming. She will take all necessary precaution aganist pregnancy and sexual disease like taking pill and safe date calculation prior to and during the duration of the filming"

Almost watertight preempt measures, I'd say.

Alice miyuki broked up with her v6 boyfriend, but have no interest in returning to av. She retires around the time with Aino and Rio of ideapocket after she was caught dating the v6 dude. However, this isn't a scandal like shoko, tsukasa Aoi, and Nozomi Aso. http://www.playno1.com/article-24927-1.html#.WfqNLZG9KSM the guys from Johnny's really love getting caught with av idols like Matsumoto Jun & Morita Go.
