Aso's frustrated at how she is treated. Porn is her lifeline and after everything she had done in trying to rehab, she's still being cut adrift by her agency after her drug scandal, deemed as a troublemaker and ostracized for being too individualistic and not falling in line. No other company are willing to take her in for fear of being associated with her. Sucks, but this is how the Japanese are. To work with them, you have to keep your head low, follow the rules and hopefully never make a mistake that marked you for life.

Man you are making this sound like the industry is in the wrong here, she's the one who messed up and sent a ripple effect through the industry, she wasn't even really into the industry the last few months before she got caught. I don't think the drugs are why she doesn't get a lot of work, because Minako Komukai was arrested twice with drugs and still got a ton of work, then after a third arrest and jail time she comes out and has had steady work since, with big companies also, Hell Saki Kouzaki a year ago came out she was brainwashed, and coerced and she still gets jobs, those aren't issues. Nozomi has to have some demons or something else holding her back, she's just been completely shallow performance wise since she's returned(i've followed her since her debut). If she wants to get hired and back to her comfy lifestyle from before she has a long waay to go to repair her image, Drug issues and suicide threats.. I mean the industry already has a bad rep throwing out a suicidal and drugged up person is bad for business

Of course things are beverbso black and white. Minako, being a long time veteran, could have some influence in the industry that allowed her to pull strings and kept her fiefdom despite having jail records. Saki got her management by the balls and so she have her say on how things should be run.

Aso is just one person with no influence and thus got hammered down by the conformist Japanese work culture.

Minako joined the jav industry like 8 months before Nozomi, and Nozomi had been a consistent prescene in it while Minako IN THE JAV industry has been in and out of it, Saki has nobody by the balls, her actions(aka mainly working for Attackers) make no sense for what she claims, Attackers would be the last place you'd let her work for the kind of stuff she claims. You're still ignoring how Nozomi fucked herself, she got caught with drugs at a time where the industry was already going through a lot of issues, say at a job you're working at you got arrested for illegal drugs and you where fired by that job because of it, whose fault is it that you got fired? She fucked herself

I watched Nozomi Asou in STAR-517 and she is clearly mentally unstable (sadly a common thing in gokkun movies), which her suicide proclaimation only confirms, and that might better explain why she has trouble finding work.

what are the details you pick up on that makes her mentally unstable

I doubt any of us are in good position to be judgemental about this whole thing. Finally it comes down to public perception, which is easy to manipulate by PR and fake news. Perhaps a long time fan like @paparoach408 is a bit more qualified.

You can't take any one tweet too seriously (by the time I clicked it's already deleted), anyone at some time may yell out something s/he doesn't mean, and Twitter makes it too easy for careless releases become instant international gossip. Just the same, you can't judge someone's real personality or issues by her vids. Personally speaking, yeah, it seems it take a mental case to film gokkun vid, but I would hesitate to judge a person. There's always the chance that she was just a highly professional actor and can perform scenes that are sickening for normal people. (totally aside, I am not saying I had any foresight or insight, but when the news broke that certain Hollywood big star likes to molest boys, I was "hah, surprising... and not so surprising, when I think back to his acting")

Anyway what does it matter? Our judging and assigning blame is pointless. Let's say you take industry side, what would you do? Stop buying Nozomi's vids? Stop attending her events? Start a twitter storm shaming Nozomi or support the industry?

Or take her side? Would you stop buying vids from those studios? Send her money? Go to her apartment and give her a hug?

I don't think anyone here is able to make even a tiny difference. Face it, most of us are too far away, literally and figuratively. Being righteous and judgemental is only for yourself.

I started this thread because I'm curious but I keep a distance. I wish the industry healthy and the girls are well. If one idol has issues, I only care up to the point that I may have fewer selections for my masturbation need. I like Minako's story because knowing her back story and knowing she is taking double penetration to have food for her belly and making my cock a little bit harder when I jerk off. Also I care if either industry bad apple and/or head-case girls make such bad public image that the whole industry is affected.

Having started and participated (and now mostly just watching) this thread, my understanding of the industry and to less extent the idols has greatly increased. Now it's easier for me to just accept what happens is what happens. JAV isn't a sunshine industry, everyone is struggling to survive and make a few yens. A lot of things that seemed irrational and annoying before, now I understand there are reasons and circumstances. I wish things were better, but even all of us together isn't enough to make a influence.

If drug problems and suicide announcements do not say enough, their eyes can say a lot also. I recognize the same expressions on other girls like AYA (RIP), Mika Oosawa, etc.

I am a fan of Nozomi Asou. I don't see how pointing out her mental instability in light of her strange acting performance, well-publicized drug problems, and now a suicide announcement is judging her. If anything it emphasizes she is a victim as much as anyone. You're the one who being righteous and judgmental here.

Dude relax, I am not attacking you geez.

I am not very sympathetic to her case either. Just saying, so what? Is it worth so much to debate or troll (as you must be thinking I am doing).

The arts and entertainment world (both mainstream and sex) naturally attract very intense personalities. So many great (serious) actors and musicians died by suicide and drug overdose. It can says only generalities about the industry, rather it tells about humanity. Brilliant people are not all well adjusted.

Like ... several of brilliant actors or musicians who died ... thinking about their careers (I'm not going to say those names, to avoid going too off topic) I tend to think some or all of them won't be as brilliant if they were not mentally unstable, drug addict, and/or suicidal.

So OK, I am sympathetic to their pain and suffering. But how to put it... some people are just in pain or suffering... I am not responsible for it, and my sympathy matters none (if my sympathy were to matter to her, then she doesn't deserve it, if she deserves it, it wouldn't matter if I sympathize with her). But if somehow the industry and the troubled person can work out and produce some great film or music, well I'm will to pay for it.

So OK, I am not saying what you should think or say, I am just putting out my opinion that gossiping is gossiping, it's not changing the world, this trend of public shaming certain groups, or politicians, or celebrities, isn't making the world or a industry better.

BTW... yeah if that famous star did molest some boys ok after a fair trial he might be put in prison. If there's a crime there should be punishment. But how I view or judge his morality is of no importance. And I try not to change my view about his acting career. He IS a brilliant actor.

There's rumor regarding moe amatsuka that she is actually older than what she claims by 3 years. This isn't that shocking since there's a lot of things happening behind the scenes and their private life we don't know. Moe belongs to the cute and petite idol category, so her agencies and studios probably think it would be nice to market her a bit younger. She may play the sweet and innocent persona at events, but she definitely have a spicer sides judging for her older pics. Besides using stage names, a lot of av idols also fake or hide other things like drugs and physical/mental illness. Some even wrote memoirs about their addiction and shitty childhood after retirement.Tia claims to be in her mid 20s, but she was already in the early 20s like 8 years ago according to old titles and way before she was famous. She's also addicted to is plastic surgeries according to her YouTube vlogs and even claim to be a "mother" a few times on social media. I'm not surprised if some av idols really have kids or a lot older than what they claim even some post their childhood photos on social media and share them in their av debut. Some American pornstars used to use fake driver license to get in to the industry early, but they do look quite mature. http://www.playno1.com/article-25007-1.html#.WgQDKpG9KSM

about I agree with Inertia, in the west many of debutants use fake ID to enter the industry early, so many of them actually are younger, while in Japan are the opposite, most of them are older than what they claimed

There are a lot of them that flash their driver license onscreen during their first few scenes. Somehow, quite a number of them got their real name exposed.

Yui hatano looks like she's in her mid 30s nowadays. It doesn't help that she's typecast as teachers, housewife, and milf since her debut because she got that non petite body type. Her skintone and body fat really age. There's some loose skin on her cheek and chin. She should really eat healthier and exercise since it's easier when she's still young. Who knows? She might be in her 30s too. She look really exhausted from filming a lot more hardcore niche titles in a lot of categories like ai uehara and also performing in Taiwan with her t-project members. She tries act cute and young when she poses with her fans at jae 2017 though. too bad Av open like dmm always go to the new best selling debuts nowadays.

Fame and money is the only thing that keep an av idol happy and sane. Nozomi asou might be using drugs to ease her stress during performance like some av idols and pornstars, but she really tarnish her image like Risa coda. Maybe she should release a memoir. Being an av idol is hard nowadays since the pay is lower, hard to breakout, get a fair cut, and with all the Olympics guidelines, piracy, agencies and management coercing rumors, Caribbean arrests, etc really damage the industry. Not to mentions if their family, friends, and school find out, get harass by fans, and receive discrimination from employers.
