Wikipedia page for Shiori Uehara states so:

琥珀うたと同居しており、「旦那」と呼んでいる。

literally translates as "Cohabits with Uta Kohaku, and address her as quote wife unquote." The use of quotation mark tells the readers that it is an ironic or or sarcastic or playful or nonserious usage.

On Uta Kohaku's wiki page, there is no mention of Shiori Uehara but this line:

本人曰くバイセクシャルである。

She claims herself to be bisexual. Especially note that explicit use of "本人" "that person" in the sentence imply that whatever is claimed should be treated with healthy suspicion. E.g. "He himself claimed to the judge and jury that he is innocent of all crimes".

I googled around a little and find a few other pages with similar language. Always "She calls her 'wife'" or "She says ..." never "She is her wife", or "she is lesbian/bisexal". It's more than just that Japan has not yet legalized same sex marriage. It is that Japanese society never have seen same-sex relation as anywhere comparable to husband/wife relation.

In terms of gender politics Japan is way way way behind Western countries. Note that's not a value judgement on my part. Personally speaking, my view on LGBT politics is somewhat on the conservative side. But all of you living in countries with same-sex marriage and LGBT priority taking centre stage, if you interpret Japanese social media with your glasses you will get it wrong.

It's the sad reality of porn. You can't always opt out in the middle of a shoot for multiple reasons, even if you feel uncomfortable or don't want to do something. Porn can go off script and they aren't always told what to expect in advance. Can't do much about it if you want to keep your career.

On another note, seems Kurumi Morishita is also erasing her AV past from the internet. Guess it makes sense now that she's a writer and working with indie movie productions. Just never thought she would be someone to do it. Guess it also depends on how much money they can still make from old vids. If you do not own the rights or make little to nothing then it makes a lot of sense to get rid of your AV past.

It's the sad reality of porn. You can't always opt out in the middle of a shoot for multiple reasons, even if you feel uncomfortable or don't want to do something. Porn can go off script and they aren't always told what to expect in advance. Can't do much about it if you want to keep your career.

Maybe it depends on the agency but I heard (I think it was Emiri Okazaki in the Asian boss interview) that actresses start the day by a movie meeting with their manager and film maker to review what the girl is ok to do on camera, then go to the set.
