The main problem will always be the guy at the door. In 15 years of visiting these places in Japan (I live here) I've only had about 5 girls who flat out refused to have anything to do with a foreigner. The door guys usually think it's too much trouble to deal with, so it's easier to just say no. Most girls have never had a foreigner before and are curious as to what they're like. They are also worried about communication, because unlike other countries, part of the sex service here is a conversation, so if you can't talk, that puts a lot of pressure on her.
