If Mitani Akari retires I'll miss her, because she's an actress I like. But it's understandable, she's been around for a few years.
The pity is that she has worked with studios that make few VRs, and moreover they are not the style I like. I don't have many VRs of Mitani Akari that I like, but at least this last one I do, and also in 8K (even if it's the worst 8K I've watched).
Unfortunately I haven't been lucky with other actresses like Nagase Yui or Shirato Hana, who didn't make it in time for the 8K VR revolution. Hana has one, but it's really bad.
I'm also still waiting for a good 8K VR of Matsumoto Ichika, with the angles I like and without clothes, but from the studio she works for, I give up already.

Hey, you ask me there isn't a good 8K of Kawakita Saika as well. There's one that might have been alright but her hair was purple in it, ugh...
And Asano Kokoro started during 8K yet for some reason, both her videos are only 4K.

Afesta sells VR movies to international customers and they even have English language pages. Videos from here have no DRM and have be freely downloaded.Sry if it is mentioned somewhere in the thread but where do you actually buy and download jav VR movies when you are not from japan?
Also does somebody know if yua mikami ever did an actual 8K VR movie? The movies that i found are all filmed in 4K
You can also buy from Fanza (DMM) but you will need a VPN. There's DRM on the videos from Fanza but there is a way around it. There's also no English page (unlike Afesta) so you will need to use some translation function if you can't read Japanese.

The 8K versions of S1 are among the most mediocre, but I still notice quite a difference between their 4K and 8K.
Yes, I'm still waiting "my" 8K VR of Kawakita Saika, Asano Kokoro, but also Sakamichi Miru, Yagi Nana, Ono Rikka, Uno Mirei (she retires in two weeks) and many others.

I would add that 8K movies on A Festa have a bitrate between 6 and 7 times higher than the same title on Fanza, or on download websites. They look awesome.

I understand you perfectly. A year ago all was happiness, but now with the new titles in VR I don't have enough anymore, I don't like 95% of the releases. It's no just the issues mentioned, it's that the non-exclusive actresses they hire now in VR seem third rate to me, far inferior to what there was one or two years ago, when Matsumoto Ichika, Nagase Yui, Shirato hana, Kinoshita Himari, Kisaki Nana, Inaba Ruka and others, were freelance actresses and every week there was some movie by one or the other. Now they've either retired, or they've become exclusive to studios that barely release VR movies, or are doing crap movies. And the actresses that have replaced them, most of them are not attractive to me.

Aren't these all kind of subjective though? The ones I like do tend to also feature my favorite actresses and not necessarily because they are good. I mean I watch MDVR-284 simply cos it's Yagi Nana's only decent 8k. All of Mita Marin's VR so far are 8k but I really only like her first.
Guess I'll try to keep this to only 1 per girl unless there's a harem going on.

But do you mean image quality, or movie quality. Because for example I quite liked the one I mentioned before from Mitani Akari (HNVR-140), but its image quality is the worst I've watched in 8K. It looks better than in 4K, but compared to other 8K, it is pitiful.
For me the JAV VR with best image quality is 3DSVR-1417, but only the 8K version sold by A Festa, which is at 100 Mbps. The version of Fanza or download websites are at 15 or 20 Mbps, and look worse. It is also one of my favorite VRs. Mei Miyajima is spectacular in this movie, and the face-to-face scenes are brutal, it's as if you were not wearing a headset. Real-life definition.

Sigh...Mitani Akari did a VR that would have been so good if only it weren't one of those POV headcam ones. I know some folks might enjoy them but watching those make me seasick. Shaky cam aside, it has a very fun theme. Looks like a harem at first, but the other girls just model lingeries in front of you before Akari takes care of you by herself afterwards.

But it's Dass, this studio always spoils movies for me. I've been waiting for 2 years for them to release an 8K Matsumoto Ichika VR without clothes and oils, but nothing. And for once they decide to do just that, and on top of that with Yazawa Receive, my favorite director.... Instead of using Ichika, They use an actress with plastic tits....
