Well, the year started off quite decently for me so far despite my earlier concerns about the lack of content.
Itou Mayuki (my last year's best VR) seems to have established herself as the frontrunner for my best VR of 2025 with her last release KAVR-401. I didn't know it was meant to be a silent title where she doesn't speak. I kinda miss the dirty talk but there's also something strangely erotic about not speaking at all too. There's less clips than the maid themed VR which I enjoyed but it adds up to being slightly longer so overall its a more focused experience. And there's 2 long scenes of sitting cowgirl which is my favored position in VR. I like that she often leans back so you can a good view of her face and her breasts all at once without needing to change angle.
Same location, same bed, just different timing for the shoot so it just a bit of difference in lighting. Eh, not going to complain. I like what I see.
Likewise my runner-up for last year, Sasaki Saki, has also made a great impression right off with IPVR-296. I know some of you don't appreciate the clothes but for me that seifuku is
There's just something about those plaited skirts. It adds to the immersion of the scenario for me.
I had high hopes for SIVR-390 but I was actually somewhat disappointed with its execution and format. Nevertheless, seeing both Mita Marin and Asano Kokoro naked together instantly makes too stupid to be able to complain much anymore. So yeah, this is still likely to end up in my top #10 at the end of the year. I just wish Asano Kokoro wore less makeup here like in her first 2 VRs where she had a fresher more innocent look.
But than there's the year's first disappointment so far in MDVR-334. I don't know how Moodyz managed to mess up here. By all rights, this should be the best VR of 2025. I mean look at Ibuki here. This girl has been working out and it shows. Look at that tone on her belly. That bod is almost unreal and Moodyz has to go screw it up with their camerawork. WTF man. Its like they took a fine piece of highest grade wagyu and than burnt it to a crisp.
What's weird about this is that they actually did a decent job on MDVR-333. Newcomer Nomiya An is quite cute but she's not on the same tier as Aoi Ibuki or Ishikawa Mio. So how is it they screwed up for their stars but did OK here. What's going on?
I can only hope they don't screw up with MDVR-336 which I had already bought simple cos its Mio who, along with the Saika, has the ability to make me not care about how much I'm spending.
