"they won't release another lesbian VR for two years"

What do you mean by that....whaaat? :O

SOD VR has only released 4 lesbian VRs in 4 years. The last one was DSVR-1120, released half and a year ago. Now this one. So the next one, in 2025... :(

I'm envious of you guys and your new gear and 8k.

I'm still running Rift CV1. It's not the best but it's still jaw dropping most of the time.

Unrelated side rant:
So I had posted that I had found a new favorite girl but having a hard time finding good VR titles with her. Tsukino Runa / Luna.
I really like her cutting scars (I assume cutting) and the one I had found was pretty great... Unfortunately in most of the videos I've found (VR and flat) she's wearing sleeves (either lacey or like a normal top) covering her forearms. I don't mind clothing sometimes when it fits a theme or is a good aesthetic but damn it's rough seeing them covered like 90% of the time. Especially in VR when it's right there.

She apparently has some uncensored work using different names, I might have to see if anyone in the regular section can help me find them, I haven't had any luck.

As far as I know, even with those glasses you can watch 8K videos, if you have a PC with a good graphics card. Even if the resolution of the glasses is much lower, 8K video looks much sharper on any display.

Most modern glasses like Quest 3 or HP Reverb G2 are 4K, but videos are released at 8K because they look much sharper and with more detail than at 4K.

but having a hard time finding good VR titles with her. Tsukino Runa / Luna.
I like her, too. She has shot many VRs, and in quite a few she is completely naked. Search here al Akiba "Tsukino Runa VR", and you will get many. Look at the pictures and you can see if she is wearing clothes or not.

I hate clothes, and there are more and more of them in JAV VRs. It sucks, between the censorship and the clothes, it's like watching Netflix, not a porn... :(

I don't know of any uncensored Tsukino Runa movies, do they exist?

According to this. https://jav.fandom.com/wiki/Luna_Tsukino
I wonder if it was work at a TokyoHot type company, website exclusive.

That must be it... the computer I'm running things on doesn't seem to handle huge files well, also the h265 encoded ones are also an issue... I assume it's probably driver related.

HereSphere gives you the best image quality, with an excellent sharpening option, many options to adjust the size of people, if you see them too big or too small, etc. It is the best by far, but as darksider59 says it is not very intuitive. I think there is a demo, download it and read the help guides. You only need half an hour and once you know how it works, you leave everything configured and you don't have to touch anything else. The effort is worthy because the experience is much better than with other players.

Never use streaming in VR, the image quality is very bad. At 720p you see everything blurry, it's like watching a movie in VHS when you could watch it at 4K.... In VR realism is the most important thing to feel like you are next to the girl, and you don't get that at 720p. You get it at 4K and especially at 8K. Download some video at 8K, run it from Quest 2, without streaming, and compare....
I just got a Meta Quest 2. I tried some streaming JAV VR, but I plan to try downloading and then watching this weekend. I am keen to see the difference.

Anyone tried the site below?

I signed up cheaply for a month with a coupon. I use a Meta Quest 2. The videos look fucking huge! Like, too big to watch. I think I had to set the video to 180 degrees side-by-side, or something like that. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Also, they are not VR, but rather 3D.
I probably won’t be renewing after the first month. They also only have fifteen videos up at any one time. They renew five videos once per week, so after three weeks, the whole fifteen have been replaced with new ones.

Hello, and welcome to VR!!! :)

That site seems fake. These videos are not real 3D, nor VR. They look like a duplicated image to create a fake 3D effect. That's why you see them so big, and surely wrong.

There is almost no uncensored JAV in VR. What there is is very old and badly shot. The only new are the videos of CovertJapan at SLR. Also VirtualRealPorn has some 8K uncensored movies with Sumire Mizukawa. There are some F2C videos, but very bad filmed.

I know it's a matter of taste, so maybe it's just me. But looking at the releases of today October 10, which have been like 8 or 10 movies, which I'm not going to download or buy any, and those of the last few months, which I haven't even downloaded 5% of what has come out.... In my opinion JAV VR movies are getting worse and worse.

Now the girls have more and more clothes on, and they don't take them off for the whole movie. Between the censorship and the clothes, it looks like you're watching Netflix....

The camera is farther and farther away, there is less interaction with the girls, in many it's just watching. The concept of virtual reality is being lost. You don't feel you are with the girls. You don't feel the girls in most of the movies.

VR movies used to had 3 or 4 scenes, now few go beyond two. And 80% is petting, they leave the sex for the last 20 minutes, and they compress everything, each position lasts 2 minutes and that's it, all very robotic.

Apart from some studio like Moodz, Premium or Idea Pocket, I'm very disappointed with the VR releases of 2023 in general. But in the last three months, things have been getting worse. I'm going back to my collection of titles from a couple of years ago, because the new releases seem very mediocre to me. Many titles don't even look like VR, they're like watching TV in 3D, you just look two meters away. :(

So I take it you're running Heresphere straight from your set, and not streaming via AirLink?

I was actually thinking of grabbing the Steam version as its much cheaper for me with regional pricing, and using AirLink for it. But from what you're saying, it seems the image quality will be bad? Even for WiFi 6?

What about network files via samba for the HereSphere installed on the set? Any experience with that? How is the quality than? Consistent?

Was thinking of getting the new Qust 3 but don't have the budget for the more expensive higher storage version. That's why I expect I will need to stream in some way. If not over WiFi than maybe over cable?

I have PC VR, HP Reverb G2 glasses connected to the PC by cable. I play the videos locally from a 16 TB hard drive.

I'm not saying that streaming over WiFi looks bad, the answer was because Periph says he was streaming at 720p, and that's very low resolution, it looks very blurry. If you stream at 4K or 8K it looks good, but probably you are going to have more definition if the video is running locally on the PC or Quest glasses. It depends on the bitrate of the movie, and whether you can keep it stable with streaming.

Just do a simple test. Take a movie at 4K or 8K and watch it streaming vía WiFi, and then locally on the glasses, and compare the differences. Then you decide which one is better for you. But don't worry, streaming with Airlink at 4K or 8K is OK, if you have a good and stable connection.

With your set up, PC & Headset connected via cable with movies on hard drive, What's the difference between running Heresphere installed on the computer vs installed on the headset. I am tryng the same set up but I probably made the mistake of purchasing the PC version of heresphere.

I don't really know what the experience is because I've never had a Quest, so that question is best answered by someone who has a Quest.

I guess it's better to use the Quest version of HereSphere and get the movies from a hard drive via WiFi, than to use the PC version of HereSphere and stream to the glasses, but I don't know.

The advantage of using the PC version of HereSphere, if you have a good PC, is that you can supersample the videos a lot and improve the definition a bit.

If you have used FANZA's own player, it is low quality, 8K looks like 4K. Try using a good player like HereSphere, it improves the picture quality a lot. This player has a sharpening mode that further enhances definition.

I suspect anything from FANZA is protected so that you can only play it on their own player. How can I play stuff on HereSphere?

Yes, Fanza has DRM, it only lets you use its player. HereSphere allows streaming directly from the website of some stores, but with Fanza I don't think so.

Personally what I do is to buy the titles I like on Fanza, but only as a support. Then I download them from here, and play them locally with HereSphere. Much better image quality and options like supersampling, zoom, etc.

After three months without releasing a single 8K title, S1 Style N1 finally announces another one. Unfortunately in their 8K videos they always uses the same girls. I love Ayaka Kawakita, but she already has some 8K movies, more variety of girls would be appreciated:

Idea Pocket and Premium do the same thing, they repeat girls. I guess they shoot 2 or 3 movies in a row with the same girl each session with the 8K camera....

Gradually, all companies working for DMM are releasing 8K titles, hopefully it will become the standard for all titles.

Kawaii has already started releasing titles at 8K:

Crystal VR:

and Alice Japan:

Also, the store A Festa VR at last sell their first VR at 8K without DRM. Too bad it's one of those titles full of clothes where you can't see anything, :(

Let's see if SOD VR decides to release 8K titles, it's one of the few left....

Are Fanza and Afesta the only decent places to buy VR titles? I hate DRM but I've been having bad luck finding some titles... especially older ones.

Edit: Well, shit... looks like I can't use Fanza (DMM) outside of japan... guess I might need to get a VPN to region change or something.
