Technical notes:
This one was a bit weird, the main movie and the 3 image shot chapters were telecined(first time I see this for an idol video) so that means it's only at 24 fps and I had to IVTC instead of using QTGMC to deinterlace. Then the "Making and off shot" extra is at 30i fps and the "Making of photo book" extra is at 60i fps. Duplicate frames were inserted to bring everything to 60 fps so it can all be in the same file.
Then there's the issue that they letterboxed the widescreen extras in a fullscreen 4:3 ratio so there was black bars at the top and bottom of them. This could be fixed by either adding another set of black bars on the left and right or resizing the picture to fit the whole size of the video, as they should have in the first place which is the option I chose. That means the extras don't look as good as the rest of the video but nothing can be done about that since it was lower resolution.
Another issue is that the original DVD has 2 glitches in it. This was a brand new sealed DVD and I've verified that the glitches are in the actual disc so nothing can be done about them but the first only happens for 3-4 frames and the second only 1 and they're during the extras so less bad in there. Here's what they are(taken from the disc playback) and also what it would have looked like if I didn't resize the extras in my encode(top and bottom bars are from the video and left and right ones are from my player which is set to not automatically resize the player window after an aspect ratio change):
