Joining Files

hello, i've had a lot of problems joining files using HJ split,

i'm not sure if the error is because i'm on vista, or what.

the files are read as 001, 002 , 003 files under my documents, and i'm not sure if they're supposed to be read as another type of file.

anyways, when i join them the joined file normally doesn't play and if it does then it will only play for a few seconds then stop.

any help would be appreciated

Does the first file (.001) plays on a standard video player (like Media Player Classic) ?

If yes, it should be possible to concatenate (join) them with HJSplit.

If no, then it has been done with another program (which adds reformating of the video parts), and I have little clue which program to use, as there are many of them.

Remember the files have to have extensions EXACTLY like .001, .002, .003, etc
if HJSplit can join them properly.
