The Police woman outfit is probably my favorite (especially if made of pvc a la miniskirt police - ミニスカポリス) but for some reason there is not much stuff available so i will just post the covers with their code i have gathered over the years regardless if there are available torrents, download links or not.

It's cool see the evolution of the police woman/investigator genre has changed.
I like the different costumes. The shorts, the skirts, and the hats. Back then JAV really invested in the genre.
Now its all black, skin tight body suits. Not color. No imagination. Just plain black.

The investigator genre is quite boring now. Yes it r*** but the one piece black suit limits how many AV actresses are willing to be comfortable in it.
The police woman costume at least, gives more opportunity IMO.

Thats an amazing collection of old covers. Really shows the similarities and differences over the years. As usual the aspect I like best is the role-playing not cosplay.
I think the absolute best one is MXGS-837 with Akikho not just role playing with (a slightly too long) and trite interview and crazy premise of miniskirt unicycle police. She really show off her unicycle skills in multiple scenes and role playing police work with her male partners/criminals.
I was never a fan of vinyl in porn. Fine leather, great. Latex or other form-fitting materials sure. But vinyl looks uncomfortable, unconvincing and cheap. The "realistic" uniforms of MXGS-837, SDDE-425, VNDS-778 and even the outrageous uniform of PXH-003, TWV-004, NFDM-450 are really great looking and sexy.
The secret investigator genre I agree is disappointing but I'm not sure it's worse than the old days. Lack of role-playing, physical-acting, too rapy, it's similar disappointment as before. One thing the police (street cop) uniform is better than secret investigator is miniskirt and absolute territory. Compare TWV-004 and NFDM-450, it's hard to explain but miniskirt with knee-high stocking is better than miniskirt with bare (pantyhose) legs. Secret investigator suits would be improved if it's thinner and more formfitting, e.g. erect nipples showing, cameltoes...
Like AVGL-008, it's just about 1 minute of cosplay posing, a few minutes of role-acting and went straight to nasty raping. Not really my cup of tea.
By contrast IESP-034 does it much better. The sex end up rather rapy too, which I personally don't like. But there was a lot of role-play and physical-acting, esp. practising high kicks while in miniskirt and high heels. Very unconvincing but also very titillating. Really wish the sex would end up much more pleasurable for the ladies.

Getting slightly off-topic, I just picked up STARS-270 with Iori Kogawa, another catsuit secret investigator. It's not especially distinctive from the other secret investigators, but she did a fair bit of role-playing, physical acting with fan-service (e.g. stealthy-sneaking around with butt cheeks sticking out). Only wish her action-in-lingerie scene were longer and slight more elaborate. Sex-wise, it's as typical tied-up, lubed-down, vibratored and gently-r***ing scenes. But the costumes and action scenes were pretty good.

Hey @ding73ding , have you seen IPX-415? It's not the usual secret investigator outfit and I personally haven't watched the film because of the r*** theme, but that costume is hot as hell! You might like it if you're looking for something other than the catwoman suit.
Hmmm thanks... I guess you are recommending this only based on cover? Hmm... guess it's legit enough. I am not a fan of pure "cos", just sex scenes while wearing specific cos. That's my complaint for most cosplay JAV, including secret investigators.

But it's too few and too fleeting! I understand it's a lot to ask JAV idols to do physical acting, so please set up like 5 cameras to cover all angles (esp. some close-ups!). One high kick may last only 0.7 seconds, but with different angles, slo-mo and replay, you can milk at least 15 seconds of fan service footage out of it. There's a huge space between the very expensive, very specialized niche where GIGA is and mainstream JAV studios (SOD, Madonna, IdeaPocket etc) adding a little extra spice of role-playing, cosplay and productiong value.
The sex scenes of STARS-270 is easily forgettable, it's functional, serves the purpose fine. But it's the fan service, role-play and physical acting that makes it interesting and worth re-enjoyment for years.
