Our data centre interprets all loli as "child pornography" (even though it isn't) and thus we must no longer allow loli.

From now on, if you flagrantly disregard this rule, you will be most likely banned.

The Staff are now actioned to search for and remove all loli content.

If we change hosts in the future, this situation may change.

Until then... no loli.

We need your cooperation, so please report loli threads.

Sorry

Nevermind, all is well again :)

You mean LOLI like loli art... not Jr.Idols right? I mean some people refer to Jr.Idols as lolis... what about avatars? And Pictures of Loli Merchandise (figures, mangas etc.)?

That's ridiculous. So, you're going to ban and remove all hentai, animated hentai, etc.? I hope you change hosts very soon.

As the JI section is still there, I don't think it involves JI. Thankfully. There are more than enough image boards for loli content so even if it is not nice, it's at least something that I can tolerate. I wouldn't switch hosting again just because of this. The current host seems to run flawlessly 24/7 and this is basically the first time I found akiba-online to be working the way it should in years.
That said, if JI were to get banned too I think a huge portion of (active) users might vanish.

Thinking about it, I think the actual problem here is the explicit content right? As in...exposed genitals or sexual acts. So JI should definitely be safe.

.... this is just ridiculous, our mods sold their souls for money so we have a cute website BUT you can't post anything? i don't understand, if you want the website to die or to become just a jav talk website just tell it to us openly.

My thoughts exactly... Keep2Share kickbacks...

In my opinion, lolita is widely defined as / regarded as children who is under 15 years old.
I think that picture of lolita (ロリータ) and picture of child pornography are NOT the same.
They are TOTALLY different. One puts emphasis on the cuteness of girls, and the other puts emphasis on body art or even sexual appetite.
So will I BE BANNED due to my avatar or the thread posted about her? She is also a cute loli!

As far as I understood and as far as my information goes it's not about Keep2Share, but the company which is operating the computing centre in which the 2 server are standing. They are against it, not K2S.

Maybe some people will now start to complain about moving the forum to new servers. I also think it is a pity that loli isn't allowed starting from now (hopefully that will change in the future). But in my point of view AO had to move to new hardware because the old hardware was way too weak. At the rush hour you even couldn't post anything. Sometimes your post went to the nirvana, and sometimes you made double posts. Searches took ages.

At the moment I hope there will be an other solution in the future. And for all the loli fan board members I hope I will come soon.

By the way: This forum isn't (and wasn't) not only about JAV and loli. I guess that would be unfair to all the other sub forums.

Hope that helps.

No that doesn't help because you seem to be including anime (if you don't know where a picture comes from don't use it as an example). I believe chompy meant lolicon is banned and not "loli(s)". It would be nice to get that clafied though, as well as how this affects any anime posts (I suppose now isn't a good time to post "Kite"). Interesting problem and I am sure chompy has no control whatsoever over this.

Relax, I'm fully aware about marshmallows and strawberrys and bananas. What you or me or even chompy defining as loli has nothing to do with the problem. It's the guys running the centers that are defining it right now. If you are wondering what content is allowed or not just ask yourself: would somebody think of me as a pedophile in the real world if they found it on my HDD? If the answer is yes, then don't post it here.

Rules come from the admins and mods, not members. Let them define what is allowed to be shared here and not "what people find on your harddrive".

So, Junior Idols falls in the same category? :(
Considering they're completely legal in Japan, that's kinda stupid.
