She’s cute, but I can only find that she’s the cover girl of Video Magazine Beppin Vol. 14, no other works.

That’s apparently sort of a montage from Video Magazine Beppin Vol. 20 meant to showcase the best idols from previous volumes. The very brief footage of Maiko that was included is taken from Video Magazine Beppin Vol. 14, where she is the first girl featured and her segment is much longer than the, what, ten seconds of footage shown here.

And apparently Video Magazine Beppin Vol. 14 was included in its entirety on the compilation tape Beppin 完全限定復刻版 Version 4, which was released much later in 1996:


So that’s, what, three magazine appearances, two from the same label, and three video appearances, all of which were from the same label as those two magazines, and the second two videos just recycled footage of her from the first. And all of the original material is from 1989.

How was she discovered? How old was she? What were her talents? What happened to her after her final appearance, since her career obviously lasted less than a year? We’ll never know. Sad.

I can now confirm that this video just has the same footage as the previous, but with slightly altered on-screen text. Source is probably one of those Beppin compilation tapes I mentioned earlier.
