To prevent spam, it is no longer possible for a new members to post more than 15 new threads in the Direct Download subforums in a single day.

The criteria for being able to post more than 15 in 24 hours is 180 posts and having been a member for 30 days.

This will probably not affect you at all.

posts or threads?

if its only affect on thread the rules wont really affecting the spammers
they can make one thread (Mega Threads or Collections) and then post on it, which are full of double post filehosting.
A good way to bump the thread right? and make the thread post by title goes down.

The fact that almost nobody replied to this announcement just shows that most users don't care at all about our rules. :sadomaso:

well, first of all it affects newbies and only for DDL section, so i guess not much of those wandering on that section of forum would care about looking at the other "non porn" part of the forum in the first place :grassdance:

u kniow.. they just went theere, get some :nosebleed: and go to sleep maybe :thief:

sorry to slightly change the subject, but what about the merged threads?
is it a new rule or is it done automatically?

We're all about stopping bot spam. If you spot bot spammers disregarding the rules, be sure to report the post.

The moderators have a keen eye for this stuff, but you can help greatly by reporting rulebreaking posts and threads.

Bot post are pretty easy to spot.

They are often messed up, with lot of errors or BBCODE that doesnt work in this forum like

[align=center]insert anything here[/aling]

They post 24/7 every hour at the same exact time. No human being can be 24/7 posting <.<

Dont answer any pm, question, warning from mods at all.

and so on..

Pretty good rule btw, they will most likely get banned after post limit released anyway hahaha

reporting isnt much enough
what staff gonna do? ban the bot id? they still can create another id or maybe they already had much id
ban ip? well may be gonna be hard, but still they can use proxy isn't it?

I'm suggesting to admins here for using captcha for starting thread and reply post

bots can easily decript captcha
(i don't know about recaptcha though, but that's annoying for normal users too)

question and answer would be quite effective, even if a little dumb maybe

If they make another account,

1) will have to wait 7 days to start posting again
2) Prob gonna spam within the 15 post limit and get banned or they pass the restriction days will start spaming then and get banned.
3) goes back to point 1.

In the end is who get tired first :study:
