which KPop idols ?
currently I like Joyce Chu (chinese malaysian singer) and Pimchanok Leuwisetpaiboon (Thai actres), wish they perform in JAV
Clara Leroy is cute, but she rare to perform, so I don't have many options hat suitable with my taste
Karen Uehara is mixed of cute and exotic girl (the first eurasian girl who turn to gyaru) and wild + great skills

that was S1's golden era, thir best era with the best actresses and a lot of great videos
totally agree with you, compare to other studios S1 is lack of creativity, lack of special videos, now they started to collect the most famous and pretty girls again, but it doesn't help if they still keep their boring themes
Here's my read/biased view of YM.
Personally I would be happy if she just settle down as a regular S-class career idol. To take a objective look at it (see her filmography so far), she wouldn't deserve S-class but I agree she has that rare it factor. So S-class she is. But I'm not sure the various perks of S-class AV idol is enough to satisfy her. Seems she craves more...
Perhaps she can keep up some kind of Kim Kardasian-perpetual-fame-machine by having her porn and non-porn tracks propelling each other. In my judgement, unlike the Kardasians, the YM house of cards would collapse without steady AV releases. That's my consolation, seems likely she will keep at it.
And I don't think she is hot or special or it enough to keeps a high-class princess AV career going for too long. I predict within 9 months, if YM keeps making only Rion-like AV she will fade from the top spot, so what I hope and predict is she will slide slightly off her heavenly pedestal down to Julia, Shunka Ayami's status, making "classy" AV, not too creative/surprising but enough variety/entertainment value for my taste. But unlike Julia & Shunka, YM will have a more successful public profile, making gigs in promoting non-adult products/events. And maybe the non-porn gigs will also keep her sharp, keeping up the it factor.
As far as selfish AV fan is concerned, I am not even asking her to do any crazy fringe AV. I just want to see normal range of AV of a typical, successful AV idols. And 10 years career is crazy talk. 5 Years is great, even 3 years out of her is enough.
Of course there's a slim slim chance she might actually re-break-out her idol career, release a couple CDs, do some MVs. If that works out... a dual track AV+mainstream idol. For now unimaginable, but if happens it would be amazing!
I think that a 10 year career for her is more of a day-dream than anything close to reality and a 3-5 year career is more realistic. But i can see the situation where she releases a jav every 2 months. She can find a balance between film 4-6 at the begging of the year beginning of the year an releases them throughout the year and goes about promoting as they are release. This way she can keep her name out there while putting more effort and focus on her career outside of of the av industry. While i wouldn't call my self a super fan. I am a fan. Their is just something about her besides her looks that attract me towards her and want to see her be in the av industry as long as possible and see her succeed in and out of the av industry.

she is active as gyaru, so I'm sure you have seen at least 1-2 of her covers
I think she knows how things in the AV industry work, she got paid big for her first TEK released, and leveraged that one video into "Stardom" and eventually a move to S1S1, I don't think she's had to deal with the harsh AV environment and if things stay how they are for her she won't ever Do you see how fast she got to the top?
Also she doesn't really have the talent to be a successful pop Idol, at best she can hope to do a Sora Aoi type thing, where she could eventually make a living off of Music, and B-movies but never hits mainstream stardom
Eh who needs 10 years from AV idols anyway, 2-4 years and a solid supply is all I need. Acky has been in over 10 years and besides aging she hasn't really done anything unique in that time, Yui Kazami has also been around a long time, and has done a lot but she's stayed in the same spot her whole career.
personally I don't think her performances have changed at all, she's just gotten older.

I really think she's best where she is, Personally i would like her at SOD to do videos with her Bestie Sakura Mana, but I think she would fade much quicker if she did work for other studios, but she's gotten passed by quite a bit and changing up studios would hurt her more then help her.
I mean why change and risk hurting your audience? they are still a top 3 studio, plus are backed by Hokuto they don't really have anything to lose doing what they've always done. Like Attackers is r*** genre, if they went and did some Vanilla stuff they would rapidly fall.
I mean they don't seem to be hurting doing what they always do, and keep getting the prettiest and best girls people will still keep coming if they like those actresses.
I don't think she's satisfied with the jav industry, she was one and done originally but her release made so much money Muteki offered her money she couldn't refuse so she came back and just kept growing and growing, She would probably prefer mainstream so she's going to stick as a top class type girl, until she thinks she's big enough to try and go mainstream she could pull a Sora Aoi and make a steady living with music, and B-Movies but never a star, she has the it factor, but not the talent to be mainstream star.
I don't know which would be better for her, freelancer or contract girl

Yua mikami only do vanilla stuffs. At least recently we see a foursome and some rougher scenes. I still can't get in to her works. She used to be a b- list idol, but switch to av along with shoko because of sex related scandal, but now she's overrated av star. Won a dmm award and the bestseller on dmm website. She is able to afford an apartment in tokyo already after a few releases. Not to mention all the private event offers she probably earn even more.
Male talent are limited in av. Low pay, overworked, and you don't get too choose the hot girls. Except for those few common faces i see all the time. The shimiken guy that have sex with a lot of av debut like mikami and that nasty fat guy. The fat guy appear in av as early as the ones with rio, maria, and yua aida. He always get the hot ones and even did it with hot Caucasians like mia malkova and abigaile johnson in Amwf series. I don't like pov, but I still prefer a better looking guy with his face get blur or cutout somehow by the camera angles.
Yeah and those creepy elderly. I guess av guys can't look too good to make the target audience think they might have a chance.
