My recommendation would be to avoid editing the files no matter what. That should only be used as a last resort after several tries have been made to complete the files by several users.
Bear in mind that Japanese users (and Utatane users in general) have no assurance that, what they can get today, they could get tomorrow.
Thinking in good faith, TTi probably wants several files from you but once you are done with whatever you are downloading now, there is no guarantee (in his mind) that he'll be able to get other files that he wants. Also consider that he may have been trading with other hard-to-get-from users (like hospital) at the time he was trading with you and had therefore to cap you speed. Heck, he might have been unable to connect the last few days because he can only get connected on weekends or something like that.
If he is truly doing it in bad faith he could have simply disconnected your download once he finished the first one he got. This is the reason why I wrote in the first point that we could use a fluent Japanese speaker, because the only way to convincingly relay the message that we are reliable users despite our lower speeds is with good communication in their native language. It probably gives them little confidence when the series that they want are not named in Japanese. It's in these occasions where having a remarkable upload speed comes in handy. We really need you, Mugesz! I'm pretty sure that most Japanese users are more confident in making trades with someone who has a similar connection to theirs than with Western users who have low-speed uploads.
Having said that, I think that you should provide the incomplete files that you have in a single torrent and put indications in the topic for anyone else that's interesting in helping with the quest of completing them. I'm confident that we should be able to complete them within the next two months. If I recall correctly, I requested them around 9 months ago. Two more months for some previously almost unknown anime is not much, is it?
Imagine what we could do if we could convince some of the guys that regularly get Japanese drama TV-shows to help us with the rare Japanese animations.
