This one’s currently available on both Suruga-ya and Culture Station, though both are on the expensive side. I’m uneasy about importing such material though, since I believe she’s still U-18 here and it looks pretty provocative.

Yeah according to the wiki I found she's probably 17 in that one, but at that time the girls were notoriously labeled a couple of years younger than they actually were.

But that store sells burned/copy DVDs only. I've sent them emails in machine-translated Japanese but never got replied to. Would be interesting if someone else tries it and gets an answer.

I’m giving this a shot. My usual proxy service said they couldn’t do it, but one of my other ones actually seems to have put an order through (they charged me, which doesn’t usually happen unless they successfully made a purchase). We’ll see what happens.

Update: They received it, and I've set it up to ship to me. We'll soon see how this turns out.

I got it. Physically, it's a crappy burned DVD-R, with a pixelated paper label depicting a particularly grainy version of the DVD's cover.

Digitally, however, it seems to be a 1:1 copy of the retail disc. There's a menu and everything. I was afraid it would be a secondhand rip that they burned to DVD format using WIndows DVD Maker or something. So was it worth the $19.71 I paid, including fees? Probably. I don't know how much a legitimate copy goes for in the aftermarket, but that's because I've never actually seen one in the aftermarket, which probably says something about its value. Miya Manma's other releases regularly sell for over 10000 yen too.

I guess the rarity warrants it, although what usually is the real value for a rare DVD IS the original packaging, since oftentimes you can find the ISO somewhere.
