Yes, I did think the same. I've always thought MM looked Chinese/Taiwanese rather than Japanese. I actually am living in Shu Qi's hometown at the moment. In my books, Shu Qi is one of the most beautiful women in the world. The funny thing is, most Chinese are a bit perplexed why she is so popular in the West, as they don't see her as especially beautiful, the way so many Western men do.

In turn, many Western men wonder why Chinese men think Karen Mok is beautiful.

I also think MM is gorgeous, and of course, am totally titilated by her youthful appearance and slutty tendencies.

Maki is such a tease and I edit most of her DVD's on just her cute mouth, great to watch her suck on something or just licking. Maki's mouth is amazing!!

Yes, she did 2 hardcore movies (or rather scenes) and participated in several others as a spectator. I think all of them were under "DANDY" brand. Anyway, here are the two hardcore ones

I found full info on her movies on some Japanese blog, but that was like a year ago. Not sure I can find it again. Anyway those two scenes are the only hardcore she did.
As for her other works, my personal favorite is GOKU-58 (see below). Technocally it's not AV, but she is such a carnivorous whore there
