As to your first post, good those people are disgusting and should rot in jail.

For the second I think that the agencies are so crooked and such an overabundance of women working that the only real answer is crowd funded pornography by fans where more of the money goes directly to the performer. I think it is inevitable, and I expect at the very least to see actresses "begging" on social media soon now that bitcoin etc is so much more prevalent in Japan. Would certainly remove much of the influence of the more seedy aspects of the JAV industry, and the "side jobs" these women often have to take on to actually make a living.

Haruki13: do you actually know anyone at these agencies or are basing your opinions solely on these articles? There definitely are some crooked people in all lines of work, but remember a lot of these allegations are simply just that: one-sided attacks. Let them run their course in courts where both parties can present their sides and somewhere in the middle is what actually happened. If the agency/scout/studio is found guilty, then I agree the books should be thrown at them, but if not, then play that world's smallest violin for the actress who made an adult decision and now wishes to back out of it.

Why is this the drum you're beating? Let me point out that in all 3 of the articles linked it isn't just an actress making an accusation, it's the police arresting men. The police are a third party and typically won't make arrests without some form of suspicion or evidence. Also, "somewhere in the middle is what actually happened" you're making assumptions of your own; is it not possible that the accused are being 100% factual or the other way around? Seems like you're going out of your way to defend assholes by saying that "there's no evidence that these accusations are true" while turning around and doing exactly the same thing- accusing women of crying wolf without any evidence either.

Also you keep saying this every time, but what's more likely, that out of the dozens of hundreds of cases being presented the women were trying to lie to get their stuff taken off the market EVERY time, or maybe, just maybe, more than a few of these accusations are true.

There’s a difference between ‘arresting’ and ‘brought in for questioning’. Many a time the initial translations don’t differentiate. A few months ago everyone was panicking because police were making ‘arrests’ of actors and actresses involved in uncensored AV and it turns out it was just questioning and nothing more. Also take note of articles like one of the ones you posted above that use 'allegedly' when describing crimes. Things aren't yet set in stone.

And I do beat a drum, sure. I also believe in 'innocent until proven guilty'.

About crowd funding actresses, I barely trust myself not to creep them out. It's probably asking for trouble if guys are directly funding girls and thinking that gives them a right to anything from them.

the real bad news for JAV is some studios cut their release for July, Ran Maru only release 1 new vid, Tameikegoro 6 vids only, its about half than usually
