Now i know that this is a very hard category to put girls in, but can you guys think of any stars who always make you think that they are nerds (based on looks,speaking etc).
I'm talking about girls who always look nerdy, and not because they have to act as such because of the script.

To give some example - some of the girls in this video do seem pretty nerdy

Wait a minute. I guess we were talking about girls...

This thread has great potential, with the promise of a lot of fun. As soon as I saw Needs More Loli's wonderful first recommendation (his second one was good, too; one does not need eyeglasses to reek of nerd), I realized that I have come across a good number of JAV covers highlighting the nerdiness of the main player. Gentleman Codegeek spoke of a whole series of such, and no doubt one exists; but I've encountered plenty of one-shots. It's one thing to know they are out there, however, and another thing to single them out.

The one example that came immediately to mind is a favorite of mine, and the "nerd" in question is not nerdy in the studious mold, but of the clueless variety.

Asian Screens chose this title wording for the movie I'd like to tell you about (HAVD-797):

"A Heinous Plan Was Devised to Get Maki Houjoh Drunk and Bang Her Hard Out of Lust, But When the Female Assistant Director Tooki Alcohol to Her, Ms. Houjoh Became Deliriously Horny and Excessive Promiscuity Ensued"

While I'm sure they did a faithful translation from the original Japanese title, that is not the story, as I saw it. The "heinous plan" that was devised is designed to bring about the downfall of the female assistant director, who is the nerd. (And I got the idea her position was even lowlier than an A.D., more like a production assistant.)

Now that we have the luxury of consulting R18 for English translations, we may see they gave the same idea as Asian Screens for their translated title: "Gorgeous Actress Maki Hojo Gets Drunk and Starts Lezzing out With an Inexperienced Staff Girl! Before They Know It, They're in a Giant Orgy!"



The nerd is played by Tsukushi Osawa, and you may see from her Asian Screens page that she is far from typecast as a nerdy sort. Yet in HAVD-797, she did a beautiful job of being lost in the woods. (Once Maki Hojo makes another move that compromises poor Tsukushi, it's precious the way Tsukushi gives a "What's going on?" expression, or utters a "Huh?" sound.)

By the way, the icing on the cake is that it is the beautiful Maki Hojo serving as the temptress. No one else seduces hetero ladies into the world of homosexuality. The movie then goes on to explore a favorite motif of mine, the now corrupted-into-lesbianism victim persuaded to have sex with men.

Even though Tsukushi's role is equal in weight to Maki's, Tsukushi is rarely credited in the usual sources.

Tsukushi Osawa has never really struck me as a nerd. In the videos I've seen of her she seems more clueless and ditsy like you said. But I guess that can be considered nerdy, idk..

Hey, this is Fisheraaa's thread, and he was talking about nerds! (Are you trying to dethrone the king of this thread?) And you yourself correctly set the pattern, with the second of your first two recommendations that glasses are not a prerequisite of being a nerd.



There is the beloved REVENGE OF THE NERDS cast, and not all are four-eyed.

Merriam-Webster tells us that a nerd is one who "behaves awkwardly around other people and usually has unstylish clothes, hair, etc." ... That is, one lacking in social skills. The second meaning is "a person who is very interested in technical subjects, computers, etc." ... but this bookwormish quality is not a requirement. That would be more like a "geek." A nerd can be a geek, but a nerd is first and foremost a dork. This is nerd scientifics, right here, for God's sake.

For example, "Booger," the third main "Revenge of the Nerds" character (second from left in the photo), not only does not wear glasses, he is also not an intellectual.

I certainly implied that Tsukushi Osawa (and I'm very impressed you know about her) is not known as a nerd, pointing to her starring roles from her Asian Screens page. So she is not a nerd in everything she has done, of course, but she made for a most delightful nerd in the mentioned movie.
